The BCM (Body Control Module) controls most electronics not related to the drivetrain, amongst others the anti-theft system, interior and exterior lights, door chimes and the keyless entry system.

Brakes are a critical component of your vehicle's safety systems, and as such, you should not be messing with them if you don't know what you're doing. If you aren't already familiar with brakes, you should either work with someone who has already repaired a number of brake systems, or get training before putting yourself and others in jeopardy.

When in doubt, take it to a professional.

Having said that:

Saturn front disk brakes are not much different than any other vehicle.

Lift the front end and put it on jack stands. If you aren't strong enough to lift it one handed, use an automotive jack. (That is my only attempt at humor, I promise)

With the front wheels off the ground and the vehicle supported by jack stands, remove the front wheels.

Examine the calipers. Note that on the back side of the calipers are two bolts that hold the calipers to the axle assembly. Remove those bolts and slide the calipers off the rotors.

EXAMINE THE BRAKE PADS TO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE REPLACEMENT PADS BACK IN THE SAME PLACE AND ORIENTATION!!! Note things like the wear sensor, anti-squeal plate and other characteristics unique to your brakes.

Next, remove and examine your rotors. If the pads were worn to the point of gouging into the rotors, you may need to replace them. Rotors should be turned to make them "true" whenever you replace the brake pads, but some rotors cannot be turned without making them too thin for safe operation. Your local auto parts retailer may be able to help you with that.

Expand the calipers to accept the new brake pads. You may need to rent, borrow or purchase a special tool, or you may be able to use a large "C" clamp.

With new or freshly turned rotors in place, install the new pads, lubricate the caliper slide bolts with lubricant that has been designed for that purpose, then install the calipers back over the rotor and tighten the bolts that hold them in place. Wash down the rotors, especially if they're new, with brake cleaner.

Replace the wheel and lower the vehicle to the ground.

Test the brakes in an area that gives you a little margin of error in case things don't always work right the first time.

The truck has had a serious engine code sent to the computer. You can shut it down and try to restart and see if the problem goes away however you must get the code read and find out the cause. It can be many things.

Check for blown fuses. If the fuses are good, check the relay, usually in a box under the hood. You may need a volt meter, and possibly a 9 volt battery to do this.

Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose

You really need to find out what code is causing the light to come on. Visit your local auto parts store. Most of them will read it for you in hopes of selling you the part necessary to fix the problem.

First, disconnect the negative (ground) cable from the battery.

Next, disconnect the positive cable from the battery.

Using a socket wrench with an extension, loosen or remove the battery hold-down clamps at the bottom of the battery. There are two clamps, on opposite ends, that pinch against a ridge on the bottom of the battery. the clamps and ridge are designed to keep the battery from bouncing out of the holder as the vehicle encounters rough roads.

Only the blower motor not working.

Certification is primarily necessary for anyone using the old Freon. The requirements for 134-A are much less restrictive.

To find the schrader valve, follow the refrigerant lines out of the AC compressor. One is the "high" side, and the other is the "low" side. It's pretty obvious which is which, since the high side goes to the condenser (attached to the radiator) that means that the OTHER line is the low side.

On the older Saturn S series, the schrader valves were right next to the AC compressor, but you had to search on the L series. Just follow the AC lines either way from the compressor and you should be able to find the schrader valves.

Just push them on till they bottom out.

Crankshaft dot should be at the 5 o'clock position. Intake camshaft sprocket should have the "INT" mark at approx. 2 o'clock. Exhaust camshaft sprocket should have the "EXH" mark at approx. 10 o'clock. Timing chain has 2 silver links and 1 copper link. Copper link aligns with the mark on the Intake cam sprocket, 1 silver link aligns with the mark on the Exhaust cam sprocket, and the other silver link aligns with the mark on the crankshaft sprocket.

It's not a problem in the slightest. Just drive it.

Inside the combustion chamber, regular and premium are effectively indistinguishable since both explode, forcing the pistons down the cylinder.

The REAL advantage to "super/premium" is the higher octane rating.

A higher octane fuel explodes more slowly or evenly.

High compression engines need premium, since the higher compression causes fuel to explode more rapidly. If the fuel explodes too rapidly, the engine "pings", not just making the characteristic sound, but it can also cause damage.

Premium fuel eliminates pinging in high compression engines, and delivers the power of those explosions more evenly.

High compression engines are not as popular today, since engineers have been able to deliver more power and efficiency with a lower compression engine.

Using premium fuel in a modern, low compression engine will only burn a little slower and not damage the engine at all.

It's just a waste of money to use premium in a low compression engine.

1. Remove the cover of the underhood fuse box.(uhfb), which is located under the hood.

2. With the ignition key in RUN but the engine off, press the red OIL RESET button and hold for 5 seconds.

3.If the CHANGE "OIL SOON light is flashing, the system is reset. The light will flash for up to 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned off.

4.If the light comes on again and stays on for 30 seconds at the next ignition cycle, it did not reset. Reset the system again.

if you have an ecotec engine they are underneath the cover that say "saturn ecotec" everyone should have a manual for their vechicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the reference section for FREE to make copies of--the PRO manual has more detailed info, and may have wiring diagrams when needed...read up and fix 'em like a PRO...good luck Dave :) Dave..do you just copy and paste this template answer over and over? I've seen this dozens of times already.

Mine all went out when my passenger visor fell apart. I was told that it is the fuse box on the passenger side that says "body". I plan on trying it tomorrow. Best wishes to you as well.

P0117 will set if the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT) reads over 248F when the engine has been running for 10 seconds. replace your coolant temp sensor. the sensor is located in the drivers side of the cylinder head, just below the valve cover line, under the coolant hose.
