How do you remove the panel to replace the passenger side electric mirror on 2002 Saturn SC1?
Remove all of the screws you can find that hold the trim pad on. Then remove the door handle id necessary, then removee all of the retainers around the sides and bottom of the trim panel and raise up on the panel and lift it off. Be careful as there are very sharp edges inside the door that can cut you badly.
What can be done if Saturn sl1 has burnt valve what are symptoms?
The definitive way to determine if there is a burned valve or blown head gasket is to run a compression test.
Mark the spark plug wires; either a piece of tape with the cylinder number or you can buy wire marker labels... your choice.
Remove the spark plugs.
Using a compression gauge, start at cylinder 1. Some gauges press into the sparkplug hole, some thread in, either way, make certain that the gauge is being used properly, then have an assistant engage the starter as though you are trying to start the engine. Make certain that the piston in question comes to the top of the compression cycle at least 3 times.
Write down the pressure that the gauge reports, then proceed to the next cylinder.
Perform the test for all 4 cylinders.
If any of the cylinders is incapable of producing pressure that is about the same as the other 3, you PROBABLY have a burned valve. If the pressure in 2 adjacent cylinders is low, you probably have a blown head gasket.
Either way, if any cylinder has low compression on the compression test, you will not be able to repair the engine without removing the head.
If the compression on all 4 cylinders is reasonably good (close to 90 PSI or more) you probably don't have a burned valve.
Good luck.
How can you tell a bad crank sensor?
A computer diagnostic test will generally tell you if you have a faulty crankshaft position sensor.
Saturn 2001 SL1 has 1 cylinder 100 compression and other cylinders have 125 Is this bad?
There should only be a 10% difference between all the cylinders so using the math, the lowest a cylinder should be 112-113. Your lowest cylinder is 20% off, not 10%. I don't think it's to bsd yet, keep an eye on it, if it gets worse it could have a bad valve or ablone head gasket.
Where is radiator cap 2001 saturn?
The radiator does not have a cap, instead, the coolant system reservoir is also pressurized and the pressure cap is on the reservoir.
What are the signs of a bad crank sensor on a 2002 Kia Optima?
I also own a 2002 Kia Optima and just had it diagnosed with a bad crank position sensor.
When the sensor shorts, the engine will not respond to how much gas it's being given, and will sometimes stall out if I am going below 5mph when the short happens. The sensor can short at any speed and the RPMs will suddenly drop, the engine will be unresponsive to gas or lack of it, and then a few seconds later the RPM will jump back up to where it was before the short.
This has been happening erratically for months. Sometimes it will happen two, three times a day and sometimes it will be a month or two where it does not happen. I was told that the problem gets worse with time, and eventually the sensor will go completely out and the car will not start.
Hope this helps! Good luck
How to change an oxygen sensor on a 1995 Saturn SL Appears to have only one.?
S-series has two. One on the manifold and one after the CAT. 22mm is the size of the one on the manifold IIRC. A wrench will work, or a special socket set with ratchet will also work.

How can you look at a relay to see if it is good or not do they blow like a fuse?
Relays DO go bad. However most replays in the s-series are very similar. Easiest thing to do is to take a suspected bad one and replace a known good one with it. If what the good relay operates still works then the suspected bad replay is good.

How do you remove the battery from a 1993 Saturn SL2?
Original equipment Saturn batteries have a "side post" battery connection. Disconnect the negative battery connection first, then remove the positive connection.
Next remove the battery "hold down" assembly, by removing the bolt. It's a single bolt that holds a clamp bar, near the bottom of the battery.
Lift out the battery, put the new battery in it's place, replace the hold down assembly, reconnect the positive side post connection, reconnect the negative side post connection... then FINALLY, re-program the radio to your favorite pre-selects and set the clock time.
