I would like to know how you put four wheel drive into a luxury car........

I had the same problem. Mine was loose, If you can push on it to make it work then yours is loose too. Remove the cluster with all the cables and wiring harnesses. Take

a close look at it from behind and push on it and you will see where it is loose. Take

a clamp like a C clamp and clamp it tight and mix up some epoxy and cement that sucker from coming loose. If yours doesn't seem to have this exact problem then order just the fan switch from Kia. You don't have to buy the whole cluster from what a friend of mine told me. The part isn't to bad, I think it was under 25 bucks.

To Calculate the "Gas Mileage" of your car you can use your trip meter. Zero it at the next fill up then when you fill up again make note of the mileage. Now take the miles and divide it by the gals pumped. Example: 225.4 / 11.125 = 20.260674157303370786516853932584 or 20.26 MPG Don't believe what any Carmaker say about the EPA estimated miles are they are never correct. Hope This Helps.

If you want to buy a new Rav4 you can go directly to a Toyota site and order a car. If you want to look for a used Rav4 you can look on 'Autotrader' or on Kelly Blue Book under used cars.

reach under the glove box on passenger side,you'll see a black plastic and there is a lid at the bottom of it pull that and you'll be able to access the filter and change it.it should take less than 5 mins...good luck and hope this helps Also airflow is right to left so install the new filter accordingly.

I have a 2004 Rav4 with 80,000 miles, and it looks as if the timing chain is going out, is this something to consider repairing or should I look to sell?

Depending on whether you have the v6 or 4 cylinder:

V6 - Right up front behind the radiator. Slide under the vehicle about a foot and a half or two feet at the dead center from the front bumper. Then look about 1 foot to your right and you should see it.

4 cyl - I don't have this vehicle but the manual states it "is at the back of the engine, it is impossible to reach it from above. It is almost as impossible to reach it from below. It may be easiest to remove the right front wheel and reach through the fender opening to get at it."

Yes but limited to the width and face so as for refacing, the maximum reduction of thickness must not be higher than 1mm. Higher than that will thin your rotor and it become more wearable and leads you to machine them some more. I recommend to have new rotors when it's already wornout after machining them.

The toyota Rav4 comes in many colors. Some include white, tan, silver, red, dark and light blur, and black. Some of the older models come in less but the new ones have a huge selection

The oil filter is behind the engine on the passenger side. Just above the suspension. You'll need to get underneath to take it off.

There is actually two horns both located in the front grill of the car, at least that's where there connections are.

It happened to me as well. Specially when I am going over bumps. My private mechanic said it is something to do with the suspension. I told me dealer to fix it since it covers under the warranty. Hopefully next week I can see my car.

It is located underneath the rear seats. But, underneath the car toward the front passengenger side of the engine. If you look under the front bumper on the passenger side you will see the filter in the corner just under the plastic covering. It will not be visible unless you slide yourself under the car. It is also not visible from looking at the engine from top view. Slide under front passenger side.

YES - in fact 1986 and 1987 throttle bodies were larger than 1988 on ( some people use them as part of a performance upgrade package on 1988 and newer 2.9 L's )

I have a 1995 Silhouette. If you're standing in front of your van, facing it, the oil filter is located at the left rear of the engine. I can best reach mine by lying down with by head at the rear of the passenger side front tire. Looking through the frame, you should be able to see it. It's a little tricky to reach, but not too bad. Read your owners manual to see what type of oil weight you need. By weight I mean 10w30, 5w30 etc. Your manual should also tell you what type of filter to buy too.

There are replacement mirriors available for a lot of cars, but not all. A parts store should be able to tell you what's available.
