Will a mass airflow sensor for a 1991 Toyota 4WD 4 cylinder work in a 1991 Toyota 4WD 6 cylinder?
Most likely it will not. Because different engines use different amount of air to run. You might want to check the sensor number against eBay and see if people sale the same sensor for both models.
How to adjust valves on 2005 V Star 1100?
This is a pretty good guide with pictures. http://www.vstar1100.com/vs1100valves.pdf
turn the little black rubber bumpers under the trunk til the trunk shuts hard that should stop the squeaking noise.
AnswerIf aajusting the bumpers doesnt help you the problem is probably in the latch, as it was on my 91 integra. To fix the problem just lift up the hatch and wrap the latch on the hatch with electrical tape. I have not found any other way to fix the problem.Well you could make sure the duct tape is secure around her mouth and hurry and find a place to dump her!

You have water in your engine from a blown head gasket what do you do?
Obviously you will have to replace the headgasket. Depending on the engine type and configuration, it may be a major process. Once the head has been removed you should take it to a machine shop to have it "planed", meaning that if the head gasket blew the head is probably warped and you have to do something to make it flat again. It can be out just a couple thousandths of an inch, something that you couldn't even detect, and that would be enough to cause the head gasket to leak. If you don't have experience with this, take it to a reputable mechanic.

What does it mean when the PWR light is showing on the dash on a 2002 Kia Sportage?
I have a 2000 Kia Sportage and when the hold button is flashing, the transmission is locked in low, by the gear shift is a button that says, hold, some how it got pushed, you might have a button on the dash that says, power and economy, I read in the manual that it should be in economy for every day driving, if you are towing something, you can use power, and the hold, it lets the transmission, pull harder, and doesn't shift as fast.
What would cause loud engine knocking for a few minutes only when the engine is cold?
Is there any smoke when you first start it? what is happening is the valve seals are probably worn and letting the oil seep past them. when your engine is first started it has no oil or very little oil at the top of the engine, thus causing the knocking noise. could be more but this is a most likely . oh and is you haven't changed your oil every 3,000 miles you had beeter start doing it....
knocking sounds usually come from bottom of engine try a better quality and correct viscosity oil
does it stop after warming up? could be faulity engine lifters. lpaws45.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
lpaws45 is pretty accurate for most engines with a genuine engine knock. But on a Mitsubishi Endeavor, my guess is you aren't using premium (91 octane) fuel 100% of the time as recommended by Mitsubishi. This creates carbon build-up on top of the pistons which in turn creates a knocking sound very similar to a lower-end engine knock. This knock will eventually occur at all times, hot or cold. The cure is to have an engine decarbon procedure performed (having a professional run a solvent through the intake vacuum) and start using premium fuel. The added fuel mileage from using premium with a 3.8 liter Mitsubishi V6 will more than pay for the extra cost.
How do you get the keys out of a 97 Grand Am GT ignition when it does not turn of all the way off?
I'll I have to do on my 96 grand am is put the steering wheel all the way down (tilt steering) before putting it into park.
its all oabut hearing the click after the keys r all the way back slowly turn forward and try to pull them out ull here a click and they well slide right out
this used to happen to me, too... key would get stuck in the accessory position and my battery got drained twice. on the bottom of the steering column there is a little plastic square cover; pop it off and you will feel a round button; press this button and the key will come out even if it's not in the off position.
My 1996 Grand AM had the same problem. The keys would get stuck in the ignition. It turned out to be a worn out shifter. The shifter was not getting all the way into park.
I had the same problem on my 97. Like the poster above it was the shifter. There is a electric solenoid on the shifter. It's plunger is spring loaded so that when you go into park the solenoid deenergizes and allows the ignition switch to go all the way to the off posititon and release the key. The spring on the plunger gets weak or clogged with gunk and the plunger cannot drop to deenergize the circuit. The solenoid is riveted to the shifter so it cannot be changed. You will end up having to replace the shifter assembly.
What is the best way to remove the starter from a 1999 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L?
Remove the lower bolt from under the truck. Remove the upper bolt by removing the left front wheel and getting to it though the wheel opening. Not easy, I just changed the one on my 2.7 Tacoma last year.
Does a 2005 four cylinder Toyota Tacoma have a timing belt or chain?
The 2.7 liter four cylinder engine in a 2005 Toyota Tacoma has a timing CHAIN
It's easy: on the 2007, 2008, 2009 and the 2003 4 Runner are all in the same place.
It is behind the lower glove box. Just open glove box disconnect the little piston rod on the right side then squeeze in the side supports so the glove box will open way down. The cabin filter it right behind the glove box. You will see a snap on door that covers the filter. Pull it off and slide out the filter.
