my '94 Lincoln would do that if i had raised the hood but not shut it all the way down; after about 2-5 minutes, alarm went off after i had locked up the car, but hood was not shut
Try lowerin the panel mounted in the trunk, and turning down the sensativity on the unit located on the left, as you look into the trunk. Worked for me. Good luck.

Alright I used to work at mr.lube and when we change the oil sometimes the low oil light comes on and what you do is turn the key to accessory , press down on the gas to the floor 3 times , turn to off position and then restart. If that doesn't work then try the brake the same way. Don't turn your vehicle on completly though , just to accessory.

To re fresh the alarm, remove the fuse to the alarm, for 30 seconds then re fit, but be ready on the alarm key fob, to turn the alarm off, becose it will sound and flash the lights, when you first put the alarm fuse back in. After you turn off the alarm witht he key fob, it should work as normal alarm again :).

unfortunatly, this is a follow the wire problem most likely the wire has been broken somwhere along the line or could have been disconnected when the alarm was installed. you'll probably need a wiring diagram or you can run a new wire. best of luck auto electrical is a pain in the a** =o)
