The damping factor Df = Zin / Zout tells you what Zout is.
Zout = Zin/Df.
If the damping factor Df = 200 and the loudspeaker impedance is Zin = 8 ohms, the output impedance of the amplifier is Zout = 8 / 200 = 0.04 ohms.
You see, there is no "8 ohm amplifier" with a 8 ohm output.

From their everything is accesable for simple(same size)spaeker replacement. It's not possible to mount bigger speakers under the deck. So, if the stock size doesn't work for you, I suggest entirely removing the box and installing a pair of 6x9 boxes easily found at your local Wally World.
No, No, No!!! This will destroy the rear deck! You need to remove the rear seat and then remove the rear deck cover. This will expose the speakers which can be replaced with 6.5 inch speakers woth 4 protruding screw tabs (The others with the holes in the circular basket need a plastic adapter ring.

Subwoofers draw a lot of current when played at louder volumes. Thus it is either preferable to use an amplifier which can produce as much RMS (not peak) power as the subwoofer's power rating, or to be sure not to overdrive the amplifier since this produces audio distortion. Audio distortion can burn out the voice coil within a speaker.

you need the blaupunkt 'U' tool, which any car radio place or Holden service centre should have, if not, a simple coat hanger, bent into a u shape at the end will do, force this all the way to the end of the four holes in your stereo... each one should slide past a latch and make a clicking sound, as for taking it out, bend all of the wires away from the stereo (towards the doors) and slide the unit out at the same time... don't worry about doing it slowly or anything, the stereo will unplug its self from the mounted bracket behind it.
as for putting a new standard size DIN back in, some of the cables need to come out of the stock head unit, to allow the dash and steering wheel controls to continue working... not sure how this is done as im currently doing it my self...

There are six RCA-style plugs on back of this unit. As you're looking at the back of it, the AUX input is the lower left (red) jack. You can, but the available power will only be about half of rated, and the frequency response will be slightly different. Better would be to connect two 8 ohm speakers in parallel, making an equivalent 4 ohm speaker.
