In this case, pair the two speakers in in series which will make the give you 18 Ohms and then join the two pairs in parallel which will result in approximately eight ohms. Then connect then in that format to the amplifier. It will work for you.

To get your radio code you must go and see your local Holden dealer and they will give you the code with no or a small charge.

Car speakers might make a weird sound as the car accelerates if the radio is equipped with an automatic sound adjuster. Some newer car radios have this feature so that the radio volume does not have to be adjusted when a window is opened or a blower fan is running.

if you put 2, 8 ohm speakers together on the same channel you will trick the amp into seeing a 4 ohm load, it is not advisable to run a 8 ohm coiled speaker on a 4 ohm amp unless you do the above. So if you want to run 2 8 ohm speakers from a 4 ohm amp this will work the best although the amp will need to be hefty as its worse to underpower a sub than overpower it! I have used a 8 ohm speaker myself on a car amp and had no problems but it was not a cheap entry level amp! some amps will take it, others will get hot and enter protection mode. Hope this helps!!!

Finding stock replacements are difficult (and expensive) The speakers are 6 1/2" round. The door speakers are the same size. You can purchase most any speakers, but make sure they will fit the depth. The rears seem to have a good amount of clearance, but the speakers in the door are VERY tight. I used Polk Audio db 650's in all four and they seem to work well. They are about 2" deep. To get at the back speakers, you need to remove the rear seat and then remove the side trim panels.

i have a 2001 Saturn it has a dolby 8 NR stereo system please tell me the code to unlock it.

in mine, they were 25 watts a peice. they are 25 watts a piece and the speaker size is 5.25 inches. Standard size is 5 1/4", but 4" w/ an adpter plate will work and is you can find 6" or cut the opening larger, you can use larger.

On 1995-98 models, remove the radio/HVAC controller cover by depressing the center pins inward to release the push pin fasteners. Be careful not to push the center pins all the way through the fasteners. Remove the push pin fasteners and pull the radio/HVAC controller cover rearward. If equipped, disengage the traction control/fog lamps/rear defogger electrical connector. Remove the 2 radio retaining screws located at the top of the unit, then carefully pull the radio forward and from the dashboard sufficiently to reach behind the unit. If equipped, push in the spring clips through the D-holes on each side of the radio brace. Unplug the radio's antenna and electrical connector, then remove the radio from the vehicle.

There are several sites offering free downloads of the Helm's FSM. Simply search for "Honda FSM," or something similar, and you should have no problems. I'd further suggest ordering a paper copy for your car, as sometimes these files are corrupt and/or incomplete.

The factory subwoofer is actually a 9 1/2" Free air subwoofer. Aftermarket would be a 10". the mounting space available is 11 1/2" inches. So when you buy one aftermarket make sure you have enough room.

remove the radio, and get the serial number. then go to the nearest dealership and they will give you the code to unlock the radio. i would also recomend writing it down and keeping it in the car, as i am sure you will experience this problem again
