How do you change the gas line that runs from the tank to the back in a 1973 beetle?
Now that is a bear! The fuel line goes through the center tunnel of the floor pan and the cover is welded on. To remove that cover affects the alinement and squareness of the whole car. It can only be removed by drilling out the spotwelds to remove and has to be rewelded to install. If you must replace the fuel line... Drill a hole in the front firewall to the right of the tunnel as low as you can get it through both pieces of sheet metal. Install a new fuel line to run to the engine on floor between the passenger seat and the tunnel hump. There should be a hole under the rear seat to run it through. BE CAREFULL Of THE BATTERY if you are not using a battery box to hold it. BE AWARE IF THERE IS A HOLE IN THE FUEL LINE, the gas will gravity feed into the passenger compartment with this arrangement!!!
Need to see where all the hoses go on a 50 cc moped?
there are not a lot of hoses, you have one from the fuel pump under the tank to the carb and one from the fuel pump to the intake for vacuum, there is also one from the air box to the valve cover for ventilation.
the bottom of the fuel pump is what connects to the carb, the side is for vacuum.
Lock wire or safety wire is applied in situations where extreme mechanical reliability is needed. Aircraft use a lot of lockwire to secure fastners. So do aerospace companies and a lot of car and bike racers. Here's how it works.
Imagine a bolt and nut. Now imagine the bolt having a hole drilled through it near the end of the threads away from the head. Put the bolt in the bolt hole using washers if needed and fit the nut. Tighten it up. Now do the rest of the bolts and nuts that hold this cover in place. You now have all these bolts with a little bit of their threads sticking through the nuts, and the hole we talked about is visible. Take a long piece of flexible wire - lock wire - and put it through one hole. Then twist it to the point where it reaches another bolt and put the wire through the the hole in that bolt. Repeat until all the fasteners are lock wired. Even if a nut or multiple nuts come loose, they can't get off the bolts because of the lockwire. Sometimes bolt heads are drilled for lock wire and it's put through the heads of the fasteners, twisted and then secured.

What is the cubic feet per miute rating of a weber 48 Ida carburetor?
Weber 48mm IDA 40mm venturi-561 per carb
Weber 48mm IDA 42mm venturi-583 per carb
Is double pumper same as a 4 barrel carb?
a double pumper is a 4 barrel carb. commonly made by holley. they were called this because they have two accelerator pumps. one on each float bowl on either end of the carb. most carbs do not have this feature, they usually only have one accelerator pump.
more susceptible to icing.
Schematic of carburetor of 1985 Chrysler fifth avenue?
If your car is running poorly it is more likely the "lean burn system" located in the air cleaner. This is an over done electric ignition that after 20 years is probably shot. NAPA sells the replacement module for $135.00. A MOPAR electric ignition conversion kit #P3690426 is about $200.00 and will fix your problem for good. Don't go into the carb until you try the ignition. I did and it was the ignition system which I replaced and it runs great with the kit.
How do you clean the carburetor on a snow blower?
You can start by taking the float bowl of the carb. and clean the bowl out (you can do this on the machine) if the bowl is not full of solids and move the float up and down look at the pin hooked to the float if it is moving then put it back together and put a good carb cleaner threw the gas tank that might fix your problem.
Or you might just have to put a good carb cleaner threw before you take any thing apart depends on your problem.
Hope this helps.
What do you do with carburetor cleaner just spray it in the throat of the carburetor?
Yes and on all the linkage.

What the difference with a 750 four barrel holley carb to a 600 holley carb?
The difference is the 750 has larger venturis & throttle plates and flows 150 more CFM at wide open throttle than a 600.
Depending on what models of Holley's you are comparing there could be other differences as well (float bowls, linkage, vacuum secondary vs double pumper, STD flange vs spread bore, etc.).
Your question is very generic so it's hard to give an exact answer aside from the obvious size differences. If you had given the list numbers from both carburetors (located on the choke horn) I/We could give a more detailed answer of the specific differences between the two.
It is a condition when one or more cylinders on an engine does not fire properly and completely burn the fuel/air mixture. It can be caused by a defective spark plug, bad plug wire, defective fuel injector, burnt valve, cracked piston, blown head gasket, or cracked head.
What is purpose of adjusting the fuel and air mixture at altitude is?
decrease the fuel flow in order to compensate for decreased air density.
A carburetor mixes air and fuel in appropriate proportions. Air and Liquid fuel are the inputs to the carburetor at different points of the carburetor.
Due to suction created by the working engine , atmosperic Air is accelerated through the venturi in the carburetor.
Accelerating Air sucks Fuel into the venturi at its center from a level regulated liquid fuel pot in the carburetor, due to the venturi action. (Bernoulli's Principle)
During the process of sucking the fuel is atomised /becomes a mist , as it enters the venturi. The atomised fuel then evaporates and mixes with the air uniformly.
This uniform gaseous mixture of fuel and air is the out put of the carburetor.
This gaseous mixture then enters into engine cylinders for combustion.
What would cause a Cylynder 5 misfire on a 2002 Tahoe?
Type your answer here... I had the same problem with my 96 Tahoe.. Vortec 350.
Problem was a blown intake gasket.
Why does my 49 cc 2 stroke minibike dies at wide open throttle?
you probably just over do it:
do these things
let the motor warm up very well
dont book the throttle : jam it open fast
accelerate slowly
the hotter the engine gets the better you can accelerate without killing the engine
good luck
You'll need an exhaust gas analyzer then it's just trial and error. You MIGHT be able to find a performance shop to give you an idea where to start, but generally you'll need to set it up using some diagnostic equipment after some initial guessing.
Where is the carb on a craftsman push mower?
To get to the carburetor on a craftsman Push mower you will need to take off the cover to the engine you may have to remove the gas tank, you need to empty the tank before removing it you will also need to disconnect the gas line while removing the tank. after the gas is drained the tank is removed and the cover is off look for the bubble that you push to prime the engine that is connected to your carburetor the gas line that you removed from your gas tank is also connected to it. To remove your carburetor you need to remove the air filter and the bolts connecting the engine to your carburetor. From their you can clean it replace it or any thing else to repair your Craftsman push mower.
Hope that I helped although I am 16 I have dun plenty of mechanic work
What is the adjustment for 7.5 hp sea king carburetor?

How do you adjust 600 cfm holley?
The idle speed and idle mixture are the first things to adjust and are very easy. If there is an off-idle stumble or a bog, you'll need to make adjustments to the accelerator pump and possibly the power valve to suit your engine. Here is a link to a Holley manual that explains it in detail: http://www.holley.com/data/TechService/Technical/Carburetor%20Tech%20Info.pdf
