You need a flat-head screwdriver and a TORX bit to remove the door panel on a 2000 Corvette. Use the screwdriver to remove the rectangular panel behind the interior door pull. Next, remove the two TORX screws. Pull the interior door handle open and use the small slots to pry off the panel. Lastly, use the screwdriver to disengage the bottom clip and pull the door panel off.

Start with the drivers side front. Open bleeder screw with someone putting pressure on the pedal. When the air bubbles out and the pedal hits the floor tighten it back up.repeat as many times as nessesary,then move to the pass. side and repeat. The rear caliper has two bleeder screws and you need to bleed the inside one first(emergency break)then the outer one. Repeat on last rear tire.

Should be the same as my 87. Open the two latches/handles on the front window, Then look for a lever behind and between the two seats. Pull the lever towards the driver side. You should hear it pop the top in the rear. Now stand beside either door and lift the back of the top in the air. The trick is to reach on the side of the open door and hit an electric switch at the same time as holding up the top and lifting the deck lid. The deck lid should pop-up and allow you to open it so that you can now fold the top back up the deck lid. Make sure you close the front handles again before closing the deck lid or else it will not close correctly.

With a tape measure check the length of the camshaft by either checking the new camshaft or measuring along the top of the engine, now take that length and extend it out from the front of the engine to see if you have a straight shot out the front of the block to remove the camshaft, by default the fan, radiator and ac condenser will need to removed for the actual removal of the camshaft.

From the factory, Corvette rotors were riveted to either the front hub assembly or the rear spindle. To remove the rotors from your Corvette, drill out the rivets, removing the head of the pressed in rivet and then pull the rotor off. The rivets, still remaining in the hub assembly or spindle can then be cut or driven out with a hammer. To install the new rotor, the rivets DO NOT need to be replaced. After removing the arm rest, door handle, and window crank carefully remove the trim panel.

You will see that the window glass is moved up and down by the regulator that is operated by the window crank. The glass runs up and down in two channels, one in the forward and one at the rear. There are at least three adjustment that can be made by loosening the adjustment screws. The adjustments are made using an Allen key after loosening the outer retaining nut. The adjustments allow you to move the channels fore and aft as well as sidways. Most "how to fix your '68 Mustnag" manuals show these adjustments. Good Luck.

Untill recently all corvette bodies have been made from fiberglass. The newer corvettes are now made from a plastic material, but have a much strong resistance to breakage and stress fractures. I am assuming that the question is being ask in regards to the body areas and not frame structures. If fiberglass is not properly prepped prior to repainting, bubbles can appear even after long periods of time in the paint. This is due to some type of chemical reaction from a residue that was absorbed into the fiberglass and then paited over. The result is a reaction resulting in the relesae of a gas that will then bubble the paint. It is very frustrating to put time and effort into a paint job that cost hundreds and into thousands of dollars, only to have a bubbles appear in the finish months after the job has been completed.

Unhook the latches holding down your top Slightly lift back the top from where it was latched down While it is lifted slightly pull the back part up and out of where it is hooked to the back Fold the back flap with the window up Use your key to unlock the top (located behind the drivers door) Pull up the handle under where you put the key in Lift the hinged lid behind your back seats Lower the back flap with the window While you are pushing the entire top back and down you have to take hold of the number 2 metal bar(located right above your head when you are sitting) and pull it forward so the top will go all the way down and fit properly. Once the top is all the way in close the plastic cover. If the top doesn't fit in all the way than you did not pull the 2nd bar forward. Do not force the plastic top to go down all the way just put the top back in place and try again. It takes a couple of times to get good at it but don't worry the 1st time is the hardest.

first check to make sure the fuse is not blown. If its not then there is a fan relay that will need to be replace and it cost around 15 dollars.

In the Fuel Tank

Can all be pulled out top of fuel door , use fire hazard precautions. Disconnect battery , do it outside , use rags to keep fuel off car , let pressure out of lines safely before working on it. Have fire EX> around!! Think safety first.

Manual coupe is 4.9, ZO6 is 3.9.

Start at the longest and work towards the shortest (R-R, L-R, R-F,L-F)

Attach a flexible line to the bleeder screw at the top of wheel cylinder

Other end into a container filled with clean brake fluid

have assistant pump brake pedal 3 times and hold appprox. 2/3 down

Open bleeder screw and observe air bubbles in container

Repeat until no bubbles are observed

Continue at next wheel MAKE SURE MASTER CYLINDER DOES NOT GO EMPTY DURING PROCEDURE

Answer

Somewhere in the electrical system there is likely a short. There is a way around this but do so at your own risk. You can always run a wire from the Positive of the Battery directly to the Positive of your radio, but make sure that you put at least a 30 amp fuse in this direct wire so that if it doesn't work the only thing you will loose is the fuse that you put in that wire and you won't burn out your entire system. Electronics in cars of today especially Corvette's as they are so compacted under the hood that it usually takes a good mechanic to figure out this mess.

There might be another way to find your answer before doing step one. Contact any Corvette Association and there are tons of them before you run that wire from your battery to the main power line of your radio.

There may be a relay that keeps power to accessory's on even with the key off and once door is opened power is off, but you power windows are on the same relay. also there is 2 fuses for the stereo. best bet is buy a 12 volt test light and test every fuse with key on test fuse while it is plugged in there are small terminals on top of fuse check for power on both sides

If you crimp the three wires running to the inertia switch together and remove the switch, it will close the circuit thus bypassing the swich.
