The 3.1 is very common for fuel injectors plugging up. Take it to an independent Garage and hvae them professionally clean the fuel injectors. The in tank additive will not solve this.

First remove neg connection at battery than serp belt than coolant than alternator than ps pump than alternator bracket and than electrical connectors now blow off all debre from area now valve covers and mount front eng use eng pull tool crank eng forward next pull upper intake and next use vAlve spring tool to remove push rods don't mix them up there not same. Length put back where they came from next remove lower intake clean mate area remove crappy gaskits replace with the metal and silicone style if you use plastic they will leaks agine soon reviese for install about 4-5 hr job rember change oil after job and before restart of engine very imPortant!!!!!! Purge air pocket from coolant

Located on the passenger side, under the dash. Accessible from the floorboard. Not easy to get to but I've taken it out and put it back in several times. Recently replaced with a new replacement motor. You'll have to remove a thing or 2 to get to it and then it's just 3 screws to remove it. 1 screw is a little tricky to get out because it's next to the wheel well. Pulling it out is a little tough because the blower wheel hangs up but you can get it worked out and then you'll have to work at it to get it back in. Hope this helps!

it is located at the top off the brake pedal with the brake switch. just had to replace one.

First you need to remove the steering wheeel. 2 remove the hazard switch screw, remove the 3 screws holding the turn signal switch, you need to remove the plastic cover below the drivers side to get access to the wires for the turn signal switch unplug the wires for the turn signal switch slide the turn signal switch up no need to remove if. 3 you can get a tool from a parts store to compress the black metal cover it does have a plastic cover over the metal,the tool will screw onto the column then tighten the top of the tool down and this will compress the spring below the black cover, with a couple of small screw drivers you can remove the metal clip that holds the black cover down, with clip removed loosen up the tool remove the tool the clip and the blcck cover. 4 there is a torx screw that holds the lock assm.in remove the screw and the lock assm. will pull out

3.1L V6 are famous for bad intake manifold gaskets that are made of plastic. See if you can find the source of the leak and how bad. Too much leaking could cause overheating problems. A bad water pump will also cause problems. btw, I blew my engine by not getting the intake manifold gasket repaired in a timely fashion. IF you have the money I would get it changed to avoid problems down the road.

Depending on what year, and possible model, it could be a little or a lot different. I have a 2005 Equinox LT. If you take a flat screw driver and pry it up under the plastic below the shifter, there is a series of clips that hold the console surrond on.

Once you get it off you need to put the key into the ignition and turn to the run (not start the car, but just before you crank the engine). This is so you can place the car in drive, but please put the emergency brake on just in case. now you can take the clip out where the windows plug in where you pried up and a couple other clips for the other console functions. Here you need and socket set to take out the four screws holding it in. then slide the unit towards you and there is 2 or 3 plugs into the back. The antenna is kinda wierd looking like it hsouldn't come out, but just give it a good yank. And there you go, just go backwards to install. (I know, I went backwards) If you are having trouble getting a CD player to work that wasn't original to the car, then you probably need an unlcok code that a Chevy dealer can give you with a receipt for it or maybe it is broken.
