cylinder numbers??? firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2...odd numbers on driver side front to back...even numbers on pass side front to back...

Take a big hammer and drive all 8 studs out. Thay will knock right out.

You need to run the nuts down flush with the end of the studs to keep from messing up the threads.

Then install new rotors and drop all the studs back in the holes, and get a long punch and drive them back in with a hammer. Easy job.

if your looking at the car standing in front of it it'll be on the right side of the engine. you have to look down (not underneath) close to the transmission. The starter has a solenoid coil attached to it. The starter itself is only connected to the engine by two bolts. The first one in plain sight and the second one behind the starter.

dont forget to remove battery terminals before touching the starter because your going to have to remove the positive terminal and bolt that connects to the starter after the two bolts holding it in place

bank 2 is opposite #1 cylinder and sensor 1 is front.

In order of cost:

While I have not tried it in a 2007 Chevy Pickup yet, I have tried it in a 2006 2500 with a Duramax. (On a closed course with a professional driver, of course). It is limited to 100 mph. I have also driven many other Chevy trucks from 1999-2006, and they were all limited to 100 mph as well. Usually this is done by the manufacture based on tire speed rating.

Yes!!!! You have to get the engine back to top dead center on cylinder one. Also make sure that it is on the compression stroke and not the exhaust stroke or you will fire 180 out.

Underneath the driver side dash.

You have to take the differential cover off and an take clips off the two axles they slide right out

the rh and lh side modules are in the seat back. unclip the seat back cover starting at the bottom. there are 3 clips on each side. then pull down the cover It could be in a number of places. Underneath the center console. Beneath the FM Stereo. Also check under the carpeting under the driver's and passenger's seats.
