Are the valves adjustable on a tracker?

Yes, the valves on a tracker can be adjustable, depending on the specific model and design of the tracker. Some trackers come equipped with adjustable valves to fine-tune their performance and optimize fluid flow, while others may have fixed valves designed for specific applications. Always refer to the manufacturer's manual for detailed information on valve adjustability for your particular tracker model.

What should a 4cylinder 1.6Litre 2000 tracker rpm be at a 65mph?

I forget what it's called off hand but if you look on the drivers side of your gear shifter you'll see a little button, if your engine seems to be racing too high start the car then push that button ( I believe it's called an over drive button) if it's on the wrong setting a O/D light shows up in the bottom right of the instrument panel and the engine races way to high. Very easy to hit by accident when putting the car into a different gear. You want that O/D light to be off.

Why is your tracker is hard on gas?

depends on the year and motor.

but old trackers , pre 96 ,

will go to Limphome mode and suck gas. 15mpg is reported.

this happens when there are many bad sensors on car and ecu can control fuel properly.

check all sensors .

if after 96 and newer , you can monitor them with OBD2 full scan tools.

Why won't the 4 wheel drive won't engage on my 1994 blazer s10?

The s10 4 wheel drive systems are vacuum activated and most problems with engagment can be traced to 3 possible culprits - leaking vacuum lines, faulty transfer case vacuum switch (part # 89059420) or faulty vacuum actuator (part # 25031740) which usually is located under the battery tray. These are all relatively cheap to replace. If you have push button engagement (on the dash) listen for engagement at the transfer case when the button is pushed. If you don't hear it, you may have a problem with your Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) (a small metal box under the dash) or your Transfer Case Encoder Motor which is mounted on the side of the transfer case. The encoder motors are more expensive but can be purchased on eBay and elsewhere. There are ways to test/troubleshoot both the TCCM and Encoder motors but might not be advisable unless you're pretty mechanically inclined. Good Luck!

I have owned a 1994 S10 4x4 Blazer now for 6 Years, It seems every time I have some stupid problem with it all I have to do is "REBOOT REBOOT REBOOT" JUST LIKE ANY Computer today it seems to work on most this crap you read about on these trucks, when the 4x4 won't engage or when it wont disengage, the very first thing I try is pull the + positive cable off the battery and hold it to a ground to dump all the power from the system (IT RESETS EVERTHING) and to date this method has never fail me, try it you can't hurt anything and it could save yourself a lot of time and money.

Why would a Geo Tracker loose power?

Could possibly be the electric fuel pump is not producing enough pressure. Or the fuel filter is clogged from not changing it, or a bad load of gas clogged it. Perform fuel pressure test if filter is OK

Has anyone ever used a speedy sleeve to repair a crank shaft seal area?

The only way it would work (long term) to install a speedy sleeve is if the crank had a small groove in it from the old seal.

These sleeves are designed to overcome that problem, not chipping or any other damage. They will work for a seal groove but they can be tricky to install. You might have to buy more than one to get it all the way on without crushing it.

Take your time and be careful and follow the directions to the letter.

Where is number 1 on the distributor on a 98 tracker?

On a 1998 Chevrolet Tracker, the number 1 cylinder is located at the front of the engine on the driver's side, which corresponds to the first cylinder in the firing order. The distributor cap will have numbered terminals, and the wire leading from the number 1 terminal connects to the ignition coil. It's essential to ensure that the rotor is pointing towards the number 1 terminal when setting the timing or replacing components.

How do you replace the rear main engine seal on a 1999 Saturn SC2 dohc?

this is a huge job. you can go about it 2 ways, one way is to pull the motor out, the other way, is to drop the subframe and pull the transmission out. either way, its a huge job. this is something that would take a trained professional who knows every nut and bolt on the car, a good 8-10 hours to complete. if your willing to do the job yourself, the seal is located on the end of the crankshaft behind the flywheel/flexplate. you will need to remove the flywheel in order to get to the seal. the seal is mounted in a removeable plate.
