Why do your lights stay on after you turn off your 2002 Chevy impala?
Delayed Headlamps
The delayed headlamps feature provides a period of
exterior lighting as you leave the area around your
vehicle. The feature is activated when the headlamps
are on due to the automatic headlamps control
feature described previously in this section, and when
the ignition is turned off. Your headlamps will then
remain on until the exterior lamps control is moved to
the parking lamps position or until either a 30 second or
60 second lighting period has ended.
If you turn off the ignition with the headlamps switch in
the parking lamps or headlamps position, the delayed
headlamps cycle will not occur.
To disable the delayed headlamps feature or change
the time of delay, see Vehicle Customization Settings
on page 3-91.
Programmable Modes
To reset or customize the features, first enter the
vehicle customization main menu. To enter the main

How do you lift a Chevy tracker?
The 1st generation of Trackers were manufactured from 89-1998. The 2nd generation of Trackers were manufactured from 1999 thru 2004 when Chevy discontinued their partnership with Suzuki on building these trucks. The 2nd generation Tracker had a wider frame than the 1st so parts aren't interchangable between the 1st and 2nd gen model years. You can "lift" the Chevy Tracker three different ways:
1. Increase the tire diameter. This raises the truck proportional to the height of the tire. Greater than a half inch increase in tire diameter would require higher diff gear ratios to maintain the appropriate mechanical advantage to the drive train.
2. Use coil spring spacers. A 1.5" thick coli spacer (max thickness) on top of the front coil springs with a 2" spacer on top of the rear coil springs will raise your truck 2" evenly. Several aftermarket companies produce these coil spacer kits ready made, to include a strut spacer as well. Thsi would require longer shocks such as those normally found on Ford's Crown Vic line of cars.
3. Purchase a complete aftermarket spring, strut and shock kit like those offered by Old Man Emu, which is a subunit of ARB and manufactured in Australia. This will provide you a 2" lift and vastly improve your on road and off-road ride. I have OME on my truck. Well worth it.
this can be cause by the crank position sensor if the fuel pump is running well then the only thing that cold cause the problem is crank position sensor
Chevy Tracker spark plug installation?
If you are referring to the number 3 spark plug hole, I can help. The cross bar prevents you from using a six inch extension due to clearance issues. Try using two 3" extensions. Get the first one half way in the hole (DO NOT let it fall in the hole, and carefully add the second. Remove the same way.

How do you replace a head gasket located on a 1995 Geo Tracker?
Replacing the head gasket on any vehicle is a long and complicated process, however if you wish to see basic step-by-step instructions go to the related question on the right side of the page "How do you replace a head gasket?"
You CAN just add a little at a time until the AC runs without cycling on and off, but don't add too much or you can destroy the seals of the compressor. That process is not recommended, especially since gauges are relatively inexpensive. To accurately charge the system, yes a meter is required.
How do you get the back seat of Chevy to fold down?
Depends on the model and make? I believe many now have a release latch or something in the trunk that must be pulled before being able to lay down the rear seat.
