How do you reset radio in a Chevy Venture?
My fuel gauge, odometer and radiator gauge isn't working and my radio says locked. How can I fix this?
We have a 95 Chevy lumina that did the same thing, we took the door off, and readjusted the door and had to rehang it, it has closed fine since then, but the motor I think has finally died, so I'm still without a way to open the door except manually, which is a pain when I'm loading and unloading things like girl scout stuff, groceries, people, etc..
Best of luck..

Why does the air conditioning smell in 2003 Chevy venture?
There are two small cabin air filters that are located behind the glove box and are accessed through the glove box. There is a small access door that can be removed and then you can pull out the filters. If these have not been changed, it could cause the air to smell from the air conditioner. These are expensive to replace (around $55.00 each). Try removing them and cleaning them as best you can before buying new ones. That might help reduce the smell when the air conditioner is on.
Where is the fuel gauge sensor located on a 2005 Chevy venture LS?
The fuel level sensor is located in the fuel tank and is mounted on the fuel "sender" assembly. This is the assembly that contains the fuel pump. The sensor comes as a unit with the attached float.
The sensor can be changed, separate from the fuel pump, but it may be a good idea to change the whole assembly while you are there IF you have had any problems with it. But you can save a little money by just changing the sensor.
You will have to drain and remove the fuel tank to get to the assembly.

Hi,
Both the fuse AND relay for the horn are in the Underhood Fuse Block. I believe it is fuse 36. I have also included a link that shows a diagram and picture of this fuse block, along with a chart to identify the exact fuse. There should also be a diagram under the fuse block cover.

How do you repair abs light is on?
The front wheel hubs both sides contain the ABS sensors .Try the obvious first by unpluging both sensor wires at the hubs and spraying wd40 or something like into the connections and if that does not help go and get plugged into an ABS capable scan tool which should tell you which sensor is failing. IT could be of course the ABS module at worst but start with the cheap and easy fixes first. Best of Luck bud.

How do you change a headlight bulb on a 2009 Chevy Malibu?
Bad news for all that own this vehicle...the 2009 Malibu. It is not possible to change this the headlight bulb yourself!!? The designers of this car appealed to us with the euro look and good gas mileage. Unfortunately they did not notify us at the time of purchase that a simple task of changing your bulb will cost you upwards of $70.00. I had a bulb go 2 days ago and inquired with my dealer ship for the details on replacement as the owners manual suggests. I was amazed to find out that you need to remove portions of the front to gain access to replace a $10.00 bulb. It will be attached with a tool only the dealership has.

The mechanism that causes the arms to park is part of the rotating arm that make the wipers move. If the wipers function in all other ways except for parking, the problem is in the rotating arm. to be sure that this is the case, remove the cover that covers the wiper mechanism while the vehicle is off and the wipers are turned off. Turn the vehicle key on and turn the wipers on to the low setting. The arm should rotate clockwise. When you turn the wipers off, the wipers should stop near the bottom of the windshield then the motor should rotate counterclockwise a little more than half of a turn. This action will park the arms if all is working properly. If your arms go back up the windshield and stop near vertical then the problem is in the arm. To remove the arm, be sure that the power is off. Disconnect the positive terminal on the battery. Remove the arm by loosening the two 8mm bolts on the linkage that connect to the arm. Then remove the t30 bolt from the center of the arm. lift up on the arm and tap on the center bolt before it is fully unthreaded. This arm consists of many moving parts, all of which are necessary for the park function to work. The first thing to check is the small flip lever on the bottom of the rotating arm. It should move freely and be spring loaded to keep the lever pushed to the outside. If it is not free, use some penetrating oil and needle nose pliers to free it. The other thing that must be done is lube the remaining parts and work them by hand to free them of corrosion. The spring that wraps around the middle can be gently removed and all parts can be oiled and worked till they are free. To reinstall the arm, turn on the wiper motor without the arm attached in the delay function. When the delay function pauses the motor turn the key off and attach the arm with the flip lever on the bottom, just clockwise past the stop on the frame. Reattach the linkage and test the unit.
