Check with "Advanced Adaptors" as far as the swap goes... as far as the front end.. the Dana 30 can, however that's alot of weight and alot of power to have to deal with.. my buddy frequently tears rear ends out with a 4 banger... be easy on it and it'll be ok i guess, go hard and your gonna be replacing shaft like crazy i would imagine. Upgrade to bigger splines, and def. check into new gears front and rear. That depends on many things. Simply there are fewer CCs per horsepower in a highly tuned racing car engine than in a lawn mower engine.

the zetec 2.0 dohc has vct it is variable valve timing in which that's why zx2's don't have egr valve and pretty much at a certain rpm the exhaust cam retards timing for a bit of performance and cleaner emissions

The 1996 Mystique has OBDII (On Board Diagnostics Level 2) and requires a command from a "code reader" or OBDII monitor. It can also be shut off by disconnecting the battery for a long enough period of time, apparently - but I have an Auto XRay unit, so I just use that. "External combustion engine" almost always means a steam engine. There are two kinds.

Reciprocating steam engines have a boiler to make steam, a piston assembly for the steam to act against, and a flywheel for the piston assembly to turn. The first steam engines were "single acting" engines. You introduce steam into the piston assembly. When it reaches the bottom of its travel, the rotating flywheel forces the piston back to the top. This is how single-cylinder internal combustion engines work. That's not efficient because you rely on mechanical inertia to make the engine work, so someone invented the "double acting" engine. The piston assembly has two pistons in it. When the piston on the left side reaches the bottom of its stroke the one on the right has reached the top of its, and a valve switches the steam from the left piston to the right one. This is far more efficient, and it's how any internal combustion engine with more than one cylinder works. To get useful work out of this thing, you put a big drive belt around the flywheel.

Steam turbines are a lot like jet engines, except that jet engines don't have boilers. There are two kinds of turbine wheels, and every steam turbine contains both types. One kind has blades that you shoot steam against. The other kind has nozzles that steam shoots out of. An internal combustion engine runs off a fuel such as gasoline or diesel fuel and emits gases i.e Carbon Monoxide harmful to you and your kids, an electric motor ,"by the way anything that runs off electicity is call a motor not an engine", does not emit any pollutants.

Yes and no. Dodge did make a V8 engine that displaced 383 cubic inches from the factory. However, a Chevy 350 can be modified to displace 383 cubic inches if you bore the cylinders .030" over and replace the entire rotating assembly (pistons, connecting rods, and crankshaft) with a shorter compression height set of .030" overbore pistons, either factory length or longer connecting rods, and a crankshaft with a 3.75" stroke. This Chevy 383 is quite popular among hot rodders and drag racers.

A hemi engine differs from a "normal" engine in that the hemi has hemispherical combustion chambers, whereas most other V8 engines just have a wedge style combustion chamber. The hemispherical combustion chamber is somewhat more efficient at making power in that the flame propagates from the spark plug, which is usually in the exact center of the chamber, in all directions, rather than mostly in one direction in a wedge style chamber.
