How a Fingerprint scanner works?
It is a visual detection unit. These are typically used in industry to detect defects in products that come off an assembly line (or similar). These devices basically compare two pictures. The pictures are converted to digital and then the resulting bytes are compared for similarities and differences.
How do you repair acomputer power cord?
If the power cord is damaged, it is best to replace it instead of attempting repairs. Repairing a power cord can be dangerous and may result in electrical hazards. Look for a replacement power cord that matches the specifications of your computer to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Why is it important to know how to rock a card correctly?
Knowing how to rock a card correctly is important because it ensures the card is thoroughly mixed with other cards, increasing randomness and fairness in games that rely on chance, such as poker. Properly shuffling cards also prevents cheating by maintaining the unpredictability of card distribution.
How many movie minutes fit in one gigabyte?
The number of movie minutes that can fit in one gigabyte depends on the quality of the video. For high-definition video, you may fit around 5-8 minutes per gigabyte, while for standard definition video, you may fit around 15-20 minutes per gigabyte.
What is the name of spec for the holes in a monitor's aperture grill?
It is called dot pitch the measurement from the center of one hole to the center of the hole next to it.
How can differentiate the ddr1 ram and ddr 2 ram on physical look?
DDR1 RAM typically has 184 pins and a notch located closer to the center. DDR2 RAM has 240 pins and a notch positioned more towards one side. You can also look at the labeling on the RAM module itself to identify whether it is DDR1 or DDR2.

Why is your notebook getting very hot?
Your notebook motherboard fan could be faulty....and another cause is there is too much dust gathered in your fan reducing the turning speed thus unable to dissipate heat as effiecient as it used to be.
Solutions: change a new notebook fan or get those exter notebook fan ,hope it helps.
What is parallel run of a software?
A parallel run is when a new software system is run alongside the existing system to compare outputs and ensure accuracy before fully transitioning to the new system. This process helps to identify any discrepancies or issues that need to be resolved before the new system is implemented.
What is AV IN port on a GPS Navagator?
The AV IN port on a GPS navigator is used to connect external video sources, such as a backup camera or a media player, to the device. This allows the user to display video content on the GPS screen, providing additional functionality beyond navigation.
HWhat does a virtual power station diagram look like?
A virtual power station diagram typically shows a network of distributed energy resources such as solar panels, wind turbines, batteries, and other assets connected through a centralized control system. It illustrates how these resources are coordinated to optimize energy generation, storage, and delivery while responding to grid demands and market conditions in a flexible and dynamic manner. The diagram can include communication networks, data analytics platforms, and control algorithms that enable real-time monitoring and control of the virtual power station.
What are the three functions of the three components that make up a PC?
There always seemed to be more than 3 components in any computer, even a PC. Perhaps you meant the major units:
Their functions are rather obvious from their names.
From the specific heat equation: c = Q / (m * T), the density equation: d = m / V and the power equation: P = Q / t we have: T = P * t / (V * d * c) where: T = temperature delta, in °C, P = heat power dissipation, in watts, t = time, in seconds, V = volume, in m³, d = density, in kg/m³, c = specific heat capacity, in J/(kg*K). Considering the air at 20°C we get: T = 8,257e-4 * P * t / V. Supposing a room of 50m³ and a heat dissipation of 100W we'd have a raise of 5,94ºC per hour. If we double the power, we double the increase in temperature. Doubling the room volume cuts the increase by one half. All that ignores some small changes in air properties which vary with temperature and the dissipation across the walls and windows in the room. The later is particularly important, as the calculations assume the room does not leak any heat. To get the right number one needs to know also exactly what amount of heat the computer generates. (It's safe to assume all power consumption from a computer is converted into heat.)
In theory yes. As long as you don't try to run them in dual-channel configuration it should work. But ram can be picky sometimes, its not too uncommon for instability to occur even using the same brands. If possible it would be best to buy the same ram speeds that you have. That way you also eliminate the possibility your motherboard has compatibility issues with the new speeds. Or completely replace what you have with newer speeds.
How do you upgrade your USB Root Hub 1to USB Root Hub Ver 2 on your dell latitude c640 laptop?
The Dell Latitude C-640 has HI-SPEED USB2 compliant hardware, but often driver problems cause the error "HI-SPEED USB Device Attached To non-HI-SPEED Hub".
This is not easy to fix (I'm still fighting it myself) but supposedly some of these websites can help:

How do you change your monitor?
Does the monitor want to change? They say, "Change comes from within!" First, unplug the unwanted monitor from the wall. Then, remove the data cord from the back of your computer. You may need to twist two screws counter-clockwise to release them. Carefully move the monitor out of the way. Now follow these instructions in reverse to install the new device. In rare situations, you may need to install software called "drivers" that should have been packed with your monitor on a CD. This is extremely unlikely, but worth mentioning. Have fun!
What are the precautions taken before installation?

Can a computer be left in freezing temperatures in a garage?
Yes, but there is a back up battery for some chips inside the computer. The freezing can cause this chip to die. Make sure you let the computer come back to room temperature before turning it on or the hard drive may break. I would suggest bringing it inside a day before you plan on using it. That will give it time to return to room temperature and for any condensation that formed during the thawing to evaporate.
What do you do if the Windows display freezes after startup and the power supply is really hot?
The display is probably freezing because the grafic card or processor is getting to hot. When this happened to me I had to install more fans in my computer case to help cool the system. R. > Check your power supply, It could be bad.
