Where is the lambda sensors located on a Peugeot 206 and how do you replace it?

how do you replace it...not easily...It cannot be replaced that easily, like a winscreen wiper....you should go to a car service

how do you replace it...not easily...

if anyone finds replacing a windscreen wiper that hard they have to pay dealer labour prices i wouldn't bother buying an automobile,

To change a lambda sensor you need access to the cat (catalytic converter) , whch is near enough always situated underneath the floorpan (on a 206 its somewhere below the gearstick on the outside of the car).

a lambda sensor plugs into tha cat so really to change this you would problably need to raise the car in the air high enough to take the cat off, so you would problably need to take the car to a garage with a lift (you don't need to take it to the dealers unless you've got money to burn)

and if you don't have a clue like how to change a wiper blade next time your wasting money having someone on about £50ph do it stand there and watch how they do it so next time you can do it yourself and not have to pay for something that takes all of 2 minutes max

Where is the Airfuel sensor located in 1999 Lexus ES300 and how to replace it?

There are 3. Bank 1 sensor 1 is between the radiator and engine when you open the hood. It looks like a spark plug screwed into the header coming out of the engine, going down, and feeding into the exhaust. Bank 2 sensor 1 is between the firewall and the engine (back side of engine). It also looks like a spark plug screwed into the header coming out of the engine, going down, and feeding into the exhaust. Hard to see unless you get under the car. The 3rd sensor is on the top side of the exhaust pipe just after the catalytic converter. The connectection for this one is underneath the carpet under the driver seat. First and last are easy to replace. Trace wire to connector, disconnect, and unscrew. Remember to use anti-seize compound on the threads of the new sensor. The bank 2 sensor 1 works the same way but I haven't been able to reach the connector to get it disconnected. Its very hard to reach. Best place to buy that I found was at this link http://www.automedicsupply.com/index.php?ref=Google&stopredirect=yes&width=1024&height=768 Good luck...Let me know if you better luck than I did replacing the bank 2 sensor 1.

How do you remove the spare tire of a 1986 Nissan hard body?

There is a long stick behind the seat that has a key on the end of it. Take it out and stick it into the like shaped hole by the rear license plate. Once inserted into the tube crank it(not sure if it's clockwise or counter) until the tire drops down. If you don't have the long stick fashion one out of a nail and a pair of vicegrips and climb under the rear of the truck and do the same thing with your homemade key.

What color is the coolant antifreeze supposed to be in a 1996 Ram 5.9 V8 magnam yellow or green thanks?

IT doesn't matter what color coolant you use, it matters by what mixture you use it. Some ethylene glycol coolants are yellow, like Pres-tone for example, others are green. Follow the direction's on the jug for correct mixtures as some are premixed and others are not. If you already have coolant in your truck, and your wondering why it's one color or another, don't worry about the color, use a $1.00 hydrometer from Pep Boys, Auto Zone or anywhere, and check the mixture of the coolant to make sure your vehicles water coolant mixture will not freeze at a certain temperature, like 10 below or 20 below the freezing mark or what ever the manufacturer states it should be.

It was built with green.

Does anyone elses corsa 54 plate 1.3 cdti fuel gauge suddenly drop after little miles and then climb back up slowly and drop back down rarther quick. is this a faulty fuel gauge or just normal?

A little more info just to help.

I filled up yesterday a full tank and drove 30 miles mainly on the motorway and i looked and it had used 1/2th of the quarter marker.

I got in today to go out and it had dropped to the 3/4 mark so i was driving and it started to rise up and was back on full after about 15 mins. but then started to drop again and when i got in it was on the 3/4 mark again.

is this normal? or faulty?

I have a similar problem with a 2000 LeSabre. The gauge is OK until only about a quarter of a tank, then it becomes unstable, goes up and down, climbs, dips back down, and then, when there is less than an eight of a tank it sticks on a full tank indication. The dealer told me it is the fuel level sender in the tank, and that it commonly fails after about 150,000 miles.

What is the torque rating of a cummins 6.7L ISC?

Dodge currently limits the power levels of 6.7 to 350hp & 650ft-lbs of torque, the reason being reliability issues with their transmissions, specifically the 545RFE automatic.

In my opinion, (based off the fact that Cummins is known for the durability of their engines) the torque rating of the 6.7 is SIGNIFICANTLY low. Cummins did not build a new engine for a "whopping" 40ft-lbs.

When Chrysler starts using ZF 8 speed automatics, which they have already signed a contract for, you can expect a torque rating that will easily match that of the new Ford Powerstroke and GM Duramax trucks, if not surpass them. People that are running modified trannies in their 6.7's can be getting up to 1300ft-lbs of torque, and as time passes, numbers grow.
