...don't you need a distributor? unless you're coil on plug, and computer controlled, it needs a mechanical distributor. apart from that, bust out the repair manual. it will tell you where everything is, usually with a picture for reference. if you still can't find it, you probably shouldn't be working on the vehicle. if the picture helps you find stuff, you need to trace the wires from the ecu to the coil (if computer controlled, ensuring no breaks) and from the battery to the coil, check the coil, if good keep moving up to the distributor, if that's still good, check your plug wires.

My shop manual indicates a special scan tool is used to read the fault codes. If the light is on it is indicating a fault somewhere in the system. This or these faults will need to be corrected for the lamp to go out. The same holds true at start up. If you have no light at start up for a few seconds, this also indicates a fault in the system. Try a Mitsubishi dealer if you have no luck with Chrysler. Summit wagons are re-badged Expo LRV's.

I have a 1992 Eagle Summit ES hatchback. I bought the car with the original manual book. The recommended trans fluid (automatic trans) is ATF type "F", this is because the A/T does not use "friction modifiers" that are in the common "dexron" Auto trans fluid used in most cars (ford, chev, etc).

Use type "F" to keep your A/T shifting hard and gripping!

Make darn sure it isn't the tire first. Take the strut off, and have the bearing pressed.

there are tests that can be done to some of the components in the distributor, the first question that would have to be anwsered is what engine that you have in this car?

eagle made it, eagle was later bought out by Chrysler Actually the Eagle Summit wagon was made by Mitsubishi. I was also marketed as the Mitsubishi Expo LRV and the Dodge Vista wagon.

You have to loosen the main pivot bolt, which is at the very bottom of the alternator... and then loosen the bolt which tightens down the slide, which is very close to the belt itself.

It works by its engine runs the machine, and the back wheels move, and it makes the front move.
