Who is the most violent people?

This is me, person who posted the question. I want to stop, but I don't know how. I used to be the victim and now I am the "perp". When I was a victim, the therapist told my spouse I was codependent and it was hard as I had driven him to hurt me. He stopped after much effort and major relocations. Now I hurt him and hurt myself in the process, I feel awful that I became all the things I hated and dispised. I carry bruises from my own actions, I hurt people I love, I want to stop but I don't know how. It's from unrealistic expectations and inability to stop disturbing and obsessive thoughts about historical things that have no impact now. sigh.

How did gunpowder change war?

Gunpowder was first invented by the Chinese in the 11th century and made its appearance in Europe by the fourteenth century. During the seventeenth century, firearms developed rapidly and increasingly changed the face of war.

By 1600, the flintlock musket had made firearms more deadly on the battlefield. Muskets were loaded from the front with powder and ball. In the flintlock musket, the powder that propelled the ball was ignited by a spark caused by a flint striking on metal. This mechanism made it easier to fire and more reliable than other muskets. Reloading techniques also improved, making it possible to make on to two shots per minute. The addition of the bayonet to the fron tof the musket made the musket even more deadly as a weapon. They bayonet was a steel blade used in hand-to-hand combat.

The increased use of firearms, combined with greater mobility on the battlefield, demanded armies that were better disciplined and trained. Governments began to fund regularly paid standing armies.

How do you tell your friend that you really miss them and want to be friends with them again?

Don't beg them. It depends how you fell out. If your old friend now has a lot of new friends and spends all their time with them and tends to make fun of other don't bother asking to become friends with them because chances are she'll start making fun of you.

I suggest that you start talking talk her a little bit everyday but don't keep talking about things you did together. Maybe if you share a class talk to her simply as classmates then talk to your other friends out of class. Eventually you'll become friends again.

Do you get full custody if your husband is cheating?

I don't blame you for being hurt and angry and I know if you had your way you are angry enough to keep the children away from him. However, it's up to a judge to decide that one and as long as he doesn't do drugs or is abusive to the children he probably will get partial custody. Please remember, that children don't completely understand what is going on with their parents, and all they know is it's "mom and dad" and they don't want to be caught in the middle deciding who to be with. They are extremely upset when mom and dad split up. Please do your children a favor and bite your tongue and let them see their father providing he is responsible. Put your own difference aside and think of your children. The anger will subside, you'll meet someone that will treat you better and the hurt doesn't last forever. Good luck Marcy

Is it illegal if you are 18 and want to get married to someone who is 15 but your parents do not accept it so you do it without their permission?

The minor person must have parental permission. If you took her to another state, without the permission of her parents you could be charged with a Federal and/or state crime, even if she went willingly. There are state and federal statutes that protect minors, whether they wish to be protected or not. And whether her parents were agreeable or not. Tread carefully...very carefully. It's illegal if her parents disapprove, but not if yours do. An 18 year old does not require parental permission to get married.

1Learner's permit provisions take effect in Connecticut January 1, 1997. Regulations establishing the expiration date for permits have not been issued. By law the term cannot be less than 180 days. The Kentucky law become effective October 1, 1996.

2 Learner's permits aren't issued in New Hampshire. Anyone 15 years and 6 months old may drive when accompanied by a driving instructor, parent, guardian, or other licensed driver who is 25 or older.

3 Licensing laws in New York prohibit 16 and 17 year-olds from driving in New York City.

4Tennessee's law requires license applicants to have permits that have been held for 3 months, but this requirement is waived for applicants who have successfully completed an approved driver education program.

5 Instruction permits are also issued in Utah to people 15 years and 9 months old. Valid for 1 year, these allow driving only with a professional driving instructor. Instructors may give students practice permits, valid for 90 days, that allow driving only with a parent or guardian.

6 The new Delaware driving law goes into affect on July 1, 1999, states that you must have your permit for six months before you can obtain a license.

How can an adopted 18-year-old find their biological parents?

The best way to start would be by asking your adoptive parents if they know the names of your birth parents. If they don't, then ask them if they will help you find them. But before you begin this discussion with them, you have to know they may be upset by it, and may not want to talk about it. But this is a natural reaction with adoptive parents; they may feel you would only be hurt by trying to contact your birth parents.

If you're of legal age, then you can try searching for them on your own, without permission from your adoptive parents. There are many sites for finding people, but unless you know their names, that won't help you any. But many adoption agencies keep a record on file with the adoptive parents signed consent for the child to contact them when s/he is older. So if you can at least find the name of the adoption agency, or the name of the attorney who handled your adoption, they would be a good place to start.

What is the age limit for drinking alcohol in California?

What are some tips for making out?

The best thing you can do when kissing is to be VERY aware of what your partner is doing. If he/she is less aggressive-she probably doesn't want you to be super aggressive. You can pick up A LOT of what someone likes by what they DO. Just relax and don't go crazy unless you can tell that she is feeling good about it. It's ok to test things, but again, if she responds by pulling away a bit or getting less into it, stop the thing you were trying.
