How do you change the fog light on a 2001 Toyota Corolla?
You don't change the light housing. You change the bulb. It's seperate. 1.) Get under your car, and unscrew(1x) the nut to unmount the fog lamp housing from the bumper. 2.) Disconnect the lamp connector. 3.) Look at the back of the foglamp housing and "unclip" the bulb. 4.) Pop a new one in.
How do you change a fog light bulb on an '01 Bonneville?
You can do this one of two ways. The first way i found easist. Pop the open the hood, and remove the 4 screws to the headlight housing. I suggest removing the headlight bulbs to keep from damage and this way you can completely remove the housing and get it out of the way as you need lots of room.. The headlight housing may have plastice " tacks" holding it in place on the side, be gentle about removing those, once you remove the headlight housing, look right below where the housing sits and you should see in plain view the bulbs for the fog lights, that is the best way, the other option is to jack up the front end of the car, remove the entire plastic underbody of the front, those come off with those plastic tacks, and do it that way. the second way is much more time consuming and more difficlt. let me know if this helps
How can you change the compass bulb on your '96 Mitsubishi Montero?
The cover for the instrument pod that the compass is in is held on by several screws. They are covered by small "buttons" and are towards the front top on both sides. Pry off the buttons (carefully) and you will be able to access the screws. Note that the same bulb is available at any auto parts store for 1/3rd the price Misubish wants for them.

Can you replace 245 75 r16 tires for 235 70 r16?
The way you have phrased your question is confusing. If you are saying that the 235/70-16 is the OEM size the answer is NO, this is not an acceptable swap. Going either way this is a bad swap. If your OEM size is 235/70-16 and you want to go to a 75 series tire then you need to install a 215/75-16. If your OEM size is 245/75-16 and you want to go to a 70 series tire then go with a 265/70-16.

What size hex key is needed for a 2000 Altima rear strut?
It should use a 17mm (I think 11/16" will work, too) hex key. If you haven't got one of those, you can take one of the strut to control arm mounting bolts and back up the two nuts (one from each bolt) snug against each other on the bolt. Put the head of the bolt into the hex opening and to loosen it, turn the inside nut counter-clockwise. To tighten it later, just turn the outside nut clockwise.

How to figure out when to change the serpentine belt in 2001 Toyota corolla car?
If you look at the surface of the belt on the smooth side there will be fine cracks in the surface. Very bad ones will have missing pieces in the ridges. ===ANOTHER ANSWER=== ANOTHER WAY to tell is by the mileage. If you have 60,000 miles or more, I would chage it or have it changed. It is well worth the investment, because if the belt has been slipping and gotten glazed over, or just regular wear and tear, you don't want to wait until you are on the road, broken down saying "damn I should have had that stupid belt changed!! A new belt will never hurt your car and it could save a LOT of aggravation! Hope this helps. P.S. I'm not sure what the first poster meant by "looking at the surface of the belt", BUT the top surface that you can see at a glance will always look "good". You have to twist the belt to see the side that has contact with the pulleys to see wear and cracks.
How do you change wiper blades on a 2009 Ford Escape?
The first, important step is to buy the correct-fitting replacements. The 2009 Ford Escape takes 20" wiper blades on both sides front and a special 12" rear blade.
When buying windshield wiper blades be sure to always use the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'. You want to look this up because correct wiper fit is more than correct length, it's also proper attachment. Not all attachments fit all arms. Using the application guide or looking up wiper size online will avoid headaches of buying the right lengths with the wrong attachments.
As far as the special 12" rear wiper blade for the special rear arm, your dealer will have them (may be expensive) or you may want to look into "Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blades" that fit these new special arms - you can find them online. The good news is - specialized rear arms do not automatically mean the wiper blade is difficult to change - it just means you need to get the right blade for easy (and successful) installation.
The installation process is simple. The replacement wiper blades will come with step-by-step, illustrated instructions and once you have the instructions and the wiper blades/arms in your hands and in front of you, it will all make better sense and will an easy maintenance task. Very simple and takes 5-15 minutes usually not requiring any tools.
If in your budget, upgrade to the newer-style frameless "beam blades" which perform better than conventional framed wipers. I use Trico NeoForm Beam Blades which are fantastic.
How do you change the fog light on a 2004 Toyota Sienna?
On my 2003 Sienna, the fog lamp assembly snaps in from the front of the bumber. To remove the old one, disconnect the electrical connector from the bottom side of the lamp assembly. Facing the front of the fog light, use a flat screwdriver, slide it between the inboard side of the fog light and the bumper. Gently push inboard (by pulling the screwdriver outboard) which will release the fog light mounting peg from the bumper while at the same time pulling and rotating the inboard edge of the assembly out toward you. The lamp assembly will slide out. The new on snaps in by placing the outboard mounting peg first and rotating the inboard side into the bumper until it snaps in place. Re-connect the electrical plug. Additional info from mcisely: I have a 2004 Sienna and just now changed a fog lamp bulb. The above information is not quite correct for the 2004 model. The idea is similar, but the "fog lamp mounting peg" referred to above is actually a threaded post locked down with a 10mm nut. If you try to blindly / unknowingly force that with a screwdriver (as I *almost* did), you will likely break the peg and/or damage the fog lamp assembly. In addition, my 2004 Sienna has a plastic debris shield protecting the air space behind the bumper. There's no way to get at that 10mm nut or "disconnect the electrical connector" without first removing the shield. You only need to free up enough of the shield to get behind it. The shield is held in place with a series of 10mm bolts around its edge and (unfortunately) some plastic push-in fasteners. I was able to create enough space to work by just removing a few of the bolts while leaving the fasteners in place. Once you can reach in and get access to the back of the mounting peg, remove that stubborn 10mm nut holding it in place. Then follow the instructions above to pop out the fog lamp assembly. Once the assembly is popped out, look at the back and you'll see some embossed lettering that shows how to remove the electrical connection. There's a spring clip to free up and the bulb can then be replaced. Reverse all these steps to clean up... Once I figured out what I was doing it took me about 15 minutes to change the bulb. Now I see why the Toyota dealership wanted to change me $52 labor to change this thing. Why the idiots at Toyota would make it so difficult to change a bulb is beyond me. A few months ago I changed a taillight bulb in a Mitsubishi Galant and it took me all of 2 minutes, with zero tools. Also, do NOT buy the replacement fog lamp bulb from Toyota. I got rooked $31 for the bulb - when a simple google search later showed examples for far less than $10!!
Which fuse is used for the rear wiper on a 2000 Saturn SW2?
I just purchased a 1999 SW2 a few months ago, and already the rear windshield wiper has stopped working. It took me a while to find the right fuse (which was evidently not the problem). I don't have the manual or fuse box panel in front of me now, but according to the manual, the fuse for that wiper is the one marked "sun" for sunroof. It's near the top of the interior passenger side dash panel.
