How do you program the garage door opener on a ford explorer?
Here is how for a 1995 (and this may also apply to 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001 and other models as well) You have to program ALL the FOBS at the same time so gather them up. From the explorer forum...
"Turn ignition from Off to Run 5 times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN.
All doors will lock and unlock to confirm programming mode.
Within 20 seconds, press any button on the remote.
Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.Within 20 seconds, press any button on the 2nd remote (up to 4 can be programmed).
Turn ignition OFF. Locks will cycle to confirm end of programming. "
The bearing at the wheel end of the shaft is probably crackede or broken. Replace it.
How do you replace the Fan Speed Resistor Module on a 1994 Nissan Altima?
The resistor is located in the HVAC blower motor housing, under the glove box [passenger side front wheel well]. Its held in with 2 bolts. Unplug the harness, take out the two bolts and take the resistor card out of the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal.

How do you repair an engine rear main seal leak?
The first thing you should do is check and replace your positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve if it's plugged, and make sure your engine oil level is not over full. Both of these conditions can cause your rear seal to leak. Check these and correct them, then see if the leak continues. If not, then you're good to go. If it still leaks, see below.
AnswerReplace rear main seal. Transmission must be removed.
I have replaced the rear main seal on pre-1987 small block chevy's without removing the trans. Not sure if it would work on other engines. Pull the oil pan and the rear cap. You may need to loosen the other main caps to take the pressure off the seal. Use a piece of thin wire to push the upper-half seal far enough to one side to get ahold of it and pull it out. Push the new seal into position, replace the other half in the cap and reassemble.

Show that the set of natural number is not bounded above?
Answer by piousbox. A previous answer, saved below after "-=-----5", is incorrect. The step that is incorrect is "surely since 1 ele of N and M is UB then (M-1) is ele of N". Why? Suppose that upper limit of N is 5, that is, 5 is in N, but 6 is not. I take M = 9. M is an upper bound of N by definition, and M-1 = 8 is still not in N, still an upper bound of N. The correct solution must involve the notion of *least* upper bound, which involves the notion of completeness (dedekind completeness):
1. Suppose N is bounded above
2. By Dedekind Completeness, there is a minimum upper bound of N, call it m
3. if n is in N then n+1 is in N, and n+1 <= m
4. n <= m-1
5. previous implies that m is not the least upper bound, reaching a contradiction.
-=-----5
sps there was then get a contradiction
what does it mean for N to be bounded above? (u write this defn urself using those cool math symbols)
surely 1 is ele of N therefore for N is not empty
therefore N is bounded Above
let M be an UB (write this meaning out w/ math symbols)
surely since 1 ele of N and M is UB then (M-1) is ele of N
there there exist n ele in N st n is strictly greater than that difference
so then
bring that -1 over to the other side of the inequality, hence n+1 is strcitly greater than M. HEY but wait one sec there buddy cause that's a contradiction of M UB on N
by defn nothing in N is strictly greater than M UB by the simple def of what it means to b UB ( on any set, but in this case the N)
there fore it is not the case that N is bounded above by M ( or by anthing for that matter)
therefore it is the case that N is not bounded above
u need to write this out using those really cool math symbols that you love all too much
Can the air ride suspension be switched to regular shocks on a 1996 Lincoln continental?
Yes!! Aftermarket conversion kits for the older cars with air ride suspensions have become a hot item in recent years because the kits provide a repair solution for vehicles that might otherwise be too expensive to fix. For example, a set of four new OEM air struts and a compressor for a 10-year-old 1994 Lincoln Continental retail for around $3,500. Add in the installation labor, and it adds up to a lot of money to spend on a car that is worth roughly $2,500. The same car could be converted to a regular coil spring suspension for around $500 to $600 in parts, and it would probably be a lifetime repair (no future air leaks, compressor failures or electronic glitches to worry about.) Here is a link to a Monroe kit. http://www.monroe.com/products/mp_detail.asp?cat=Accessories&detail=Conversion%20Kits
Where is the multifunction switch located?
Multifunction switches are located in the steering column. It's the turn signal, cruise control, headlights, wiper, etc lever. In different vehicles they have different functions.
How do you reset the oil change signal in a 2002 Ford Explorer?
This procedure works for resetting the oil change reminder on most 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Ford Explorer and Mercury Mountaineer vehicles that have the three vertically aligned buttons with "Info" on the top ,"Set up" in the middle and "Reset" on the bottom.
.
Close the door, turn the key on with engine off and wait for the chime to stops.
Press and release "Set up" until you see "Reset for system check".
Press and release "Reset" until you see "Oil life % Hold reset new"
Press and hold "Reset" until you see "Oil life reset to 100%"

Is the 2003 Volvo C70 front wheel drive rear wheel drive or four wheel drive?
The 2003 Volvo C70 has front wheel drive.
How do you change the front fenders and grille on a 1991 ford explorer to a newer model?
you will probly have to fabricate the newer parts to fit the body of your car, or get in touch with a fab shop and have them build you something custom. (the latter is more expensive but would be oober nice)
A wheel farthingale is a piece of Elizabethan underpinnings worn in the late 1500's. It's a wheel shape, worn low in the front, high in the back, worn over a bumroll and under a pair of bodies (a corset).
The wheel farthingale came from France, but didn't achieve popularity until Queen Elizabeth took it up. It makes the waist look very small, and the torso long (and the legs short...), and is the look favored in many of Queen Elizabeth's portraits.
Drive reduction theory is the view that organisms learn to engage in bahaviors that have the effect of reducing drives. According to Clark Hull, primary drives such as hunger, thirst, and pain trigger arousal (tension) and activate behavior. We learn to engage in behaviors that reduce the tension. We also acquire drives through experience. These drives are called acquired drives. Primary drives like hunger are triggered whenwe are in a state of deprivation. Sensations of hunger motivate us to act in ways that will restore the bodily balance. This tendency is to maintain a steady state is called homeostasis. Homeostasis works much like a thermostat. When the temperature in a room drops below the set point, the heatging system is triggered. the heat stays on until the set point is reached. Similarly, most animals eat until theya re no longer hungry. The fact that many people eat "recreationally" - for example, when they see an appealing dessert - suggests there is more to eating than drive reduction. Reference: Rathus, S. A. (2008). How do you locate the fuse for the flashers for a 1983 Mercury Marquis?
Assuming it's the same setup as the ones I've worked on, (I've never worked on <86), it should be in the fuse box located close to the parking brake pedal. The one you're looking for should be larger than the rest, and cylindrical-shaped.
