That sounds like it could be a wheel bearing or main axle bearing.

The curb weight of the 2004 Ford Explorer is 4304 lbs..

The first question I would ask is if you were running incandescent or LED lights. If you're running LEDs, and didn't install resistors - or the resistors aren't functioning properly, there's your problem. LEDs take a lot less energy to light up, so to dim the marker lights, the market light circuit needs to have additional resistance added in order for those LEDs to not be fully illuminated.. once they are, they can't get any brighter.

The relay isn't working correctly

Probably a bad fuel petcock on the bottom of the tank. It is vacuum operated so it will not flow fuel unless the engine is running. (Safety feature) My older '79 GS has a "prime" setting on the petcock that allows the fuel to bypass the vacuum shutoff and run straight into the carbs (thus filling the floatbowls should the engine not be able to start due to lack of fuel in the carbs.) Either you have a bad petcock or you are checking it in the "ON" position. If you have "prime" it should flow fuel without a problem. If not there may be dirt in the petcock or other internal problems. Hope this helps. Mark in NE Indiana. _____ I just fixed my 1983 GS750E which had a fuel flow issue with the petcock. After disassembly of the petcock it was found that the fuel valve o-ring would tack itself to the sealing surface, thus, not allowing fuel to flow. Rear disc ? if it is rear disc brakes there is a drum brake in side of the rear rotor that is your parking brake and has an adjuster in it if you pull the rotor off.

It sounds like your power wire matched up with a ground wire on the trailer or vise versa so replace the blown fuse for the marker lights and everything should be good. Check fuses in cab and in engine compartment.

It is basically just Morse Code.

I have a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT and I would say ( no )

You would have to move the steering wheel abruptly at a

higher rate of speed or get it to slide sideways and then hit a

curb or something like that , or enter a ditch at a sharp angle

to get it to roll over . Of course , it does have a higher centre of

gravity then say a Ford Mustang , so as long as you don't

over react with the steering wheel if something like a flat tire

occurs on the highway , it seems fine to me

It is the rev limiter which protects your engine from over reving. While driving you can rev as much as you want. I never red line though and dont recommend it. You can remove it with a power programmer which can cost $$$$.
