Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine. The hose is connected to a housing(under the distributer) which is bolted to the engine with 2 bolts. the thermostat is located under the housing, with the spring side of the thermostat facing the cylcinder head.

To change the oil in a 1998 Chevy Prism you must first remove the oil plug from the oil pan under the vehicle. Allow all oil to drain out. Remove the old oil filter and replace with a new filter. Replace the oil plug in the oil pan. Refill the engine with clean oil as recommended without over filling.

A good chance you have a faulty heater core

It is used to ready humidity levels. You compare the readings off the wet and dry bulb, then find the humidity on the chart (see Sling Psychrometer).

I had the same problem with my 92 Prizm. NO ppm was 4350. I replaced the EGR Modulator and it solved the problem.

look on the under side of the hood or in front of the radiator usually tells you your information like gap and timing.

If the gas gauge reads a little over full when the tank is actually full on a 93 Geo Prizm, that is normal. Sometimes, when filling the tank, it will register over the full mark. The computer can be reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes if the tank is not actually full.

It is generally 10W-30 but can depend on your ambient temperature. At colder temperatures you need thinner oil. You should be able to find this information in your owner's manual and it is also stamped on the oil filler cap if it is the original.

i don't know, as that car does not exist. prizm went to Chevy in 1998.

If you mean the door lock cylinder...remove the interior door panel. On the back of the door handle there are 2 10mm hex bolts. To the outer edge of the door there is an access hole. With an extension, remove the 10mm bolt that holds the lock cylinder and door handle together. Reach in and push the nylon retainer that holds the rod into the cylinder (yellow on driver side, white on passenger side) and remove it. A slight twist of the cylinder will remove it from the door handle. Replace in reverse order.

if you car had automatic headlights.. the kind that pop up when turned on. then there would be a fuse there.

'cause it's not getting electricity.... you have to determine why. it will only run when the engine gets hot to cool it back down but you have to find out whether the signal is sent by the temp sensor to the fan relay

Buy a Haynes or Chilton repair manual from a parts store.

Jack the car up so that wheel with the bearing in question is up off the ground. Grab the tire on the top and bottom and rock it back and forth. There should be little or no play back and forth with the tire. If there is then that bearing should be replaced. Usually a bad wheel bearing will make a noise while the car is in motion. The noise may get louder during turns. Also, withe the car jacked up spin the wheel. The beraing may cause clicking noise or rotate in a jerky way. I have seen situations where the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing were not pronounced but the bearing was in very bad shape (split rollers split race. Investigate any symptom promptly. The bearing may cause you to loose a wheel or cause the wheel to not turn! Bad wheel bearings usually make noise while driving, try to listen to your car closely.

I just did this to my sons car, very very easy. Tools required: One small Phillips screw driver. On the inside of the car on each side of the third brake light unit there is a small plug type tab. Press in on the center with the Phillips screw driver, a ball point pen will work as well. It will just pop in about a quarter inch. Next grab the outside lip of that same tab and pull the plug out. Repeat on the other side. This will allow you to lift and remove the plastic covering. Next you will see a small Phillips screw on the left of the bracket holding the actual light bulb. Remove with Phillips driver, this will allow the light assembly to come out. Unscrew the bulb replace and assemble. Took all of 5 minutes. Replacement bulb is a 921 or a 921LL Only difference in bulbs in the LL is suppose to last longer, more expensive too. Still only 3 bucks though. Good luck

I would suggest you either try a auto salvage yard or any auto parts store. The auto parts store may have a after market version that will fit. Otherwise you can go to a Chevy or a Toyota dealership and find one.

The break light switch is located on the backside of the break peddle arm.

It should have a couple of little plastic plugs in it. You need to take a small screwdriver or pen or something stiff and push the center of these plugs inwards. Once you've done that, pull them out and put them aside. Then there's a couple of bolts ( I think 10 or 12mm) that will have to come out. This will allow you access to the assembly. You'll have to reuse the little plastic plugs. Push them out until they protrude from the outer ring and then stick them back in and push the centers back down to the flush position.

Just take the trim piece around it off and you'll be able to go from there. Just make sure you plug everything back in on the new one.

You've got a short somewhere. Could also be a faulty fan motor. Have you tried wiring it direct and make sure the motor is good?
