That hose is the differential vent hose. It is held onto the chassis up under the motor by a small clip. The hose does not attach to anything other than the differential.

There is no afs on a cherokee, they run on a map sensor.

There is a black strip to the left of the throttle body that has three bolts,remove these bolts and pull the strip away and you will see the spark plugs, change them out and line the boots up with the top of the plugs and replace the strip

A body lift does just that, lifts the body and gives more tire clearance( stock suspension). A suspension lift gives more clearance but also give more suspension travel for off roading.

P0300 Diagnostic Code - Random Misfire

Symptoms.
Engine may stumble or miss
Engine may be hard to start

Failing spark plugs or spark plug wires
Bad coil or coil pack
Failing oxygen sensor(s)
Bad fuel injector or more than one
Stuck exhaust valve
Bad catalytic converter

The Fix
Best first action is a tune up, new plugs, wires, inspect all hoses and wire connections then reset the code. If it returns you will need to narrow it down to a system, coils and coil packs should be tested, catalytic converters for function ( do you smell rotten eggs?). A misfire that jumps cylinders could indicate a lean condition, do you have any other codes along with the 300? this will help clue you in to the source, check valve function to make sure they are opening and closing fully.
This is probably pone of the most difficult codes to troubleshoot, so start with the basics and work your way into the more expensive options, in many cases a good old tune up solves the problem, back it up with a fuel system cleaning and see where you stand.

caravan's have a plastic cogged track that easily breaks over time. When it breaks the window track will travel down but broken will not pull back up. This is so common HELP sells a new Chrysler window track for 12.99 but have fun, working inside doors are always awkward.

Most are interchangeable, I used a Cherokee Steering Gear on my Wrangler. :) The numbers are on the top of the gear. If they match and/or if it looks exactly the same as yours, in every way, it will probably work on your vehicle. There were also some Light Toyota Trucks that had the same gears as the Cherokees' too.

Actually, this is a Jeep and this is a standard transmission (I bet.. just like mine)The arrow lights at the proper time for an UP shift. As the original answer points out, this is for the best economy, based on your driving. It will never light up in forth gear (no where to go from there). The light is controlled by a vac. sensor. could be a fuel economy shift point indicator. if the vehicle is a standard transmission.

The usual cause is a condensate drain that is plugged. You should be able to crawl under the car and poke something up through the drain to clear it out. Another possible problem is the drain pan is cracked or broken allowing the condensate to drip. This would require partial disassembly of the dash to replace.

first try changing the plugs and wires along with the distributor.

if this doesn't work try a cleaning or changing the carb.

Hey Alissa==Put some oil addativee in the crankcase for sticking valve lifters. It should help after running for a couple of weeks. The dying is probably the idle control solonoid which is on the throtle body. Take it off and clean it. Also clean the inside of the throtle body. GoodluckJoe

The fuel pressure regulator is generally located on the fuel rail. On Chrysler products it is located on the top of the fuel pump/sending unit and is part of the fuel filter. Or it is located in front of the fuel tank and above the rear axle.

Yes a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water. I disagree, I'll explain why A 100% antifreeze solution is perfectly acceptable. However you will only get a small increase in protection against overheating or freezing as compared to a 50/50 mixture of anti-freeze and water. By the way, the water doesn't have to be distilled. If your water supply is hard or has some other mineral deposits then you should use soft water. In the near term, the iron content in hard water won't impede the overheating and freezing protection that you get from the antifreeze, but it will extend the life of your cooling system by preventing the iron ions (or calcium ions or whatever mineral is present in the water) from corroding and clogging the coolant passages. It will also allow for a more efficient heat transfer between the hot internal engine block surfaces and the antifreeze itself.

You would think a bad strut, but any mechanic should find that. You should have some idea if it is the front or the back. Since you say uncontrolable I will assume it's the front. The response of the steering wheel to the tires is what it should be, no delay or play in the steering? If it is as bad as you describe, it has to be repeatable. If it doesn't show up on smooth roads or at a certain speed it has to be either a strut or a broken spring maybe. It has to be something with up and down motion, not steering.

Now see there you go not all filters are created equal. You will also have to replace the fluid you lose as well, so that will need figured in and then labor cost as well (Unless you DIY) An like the filter not all Fluid is created equal i.e. Standard ATF vs Synthetic ATF. Year:

Assuming the pump is similar to my 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport, you first need to remove the the pulley with a special tool which you can borrow at an auto parts store. But before doing this, loosen and slide off the the belt off the pump. After removing pulley. remove bolts and pump should slide off. Did this to my jeep recently.
