On the fly is not an option for 4 wheel low, you will have to stop the jeep and place in neutral before that change can be made. You are litterally moving pieces inside of your differential, so ther can be no other vehicle movement.
How do you remove the radio system in a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?
I have a 04 jeep liberty my self and I put in my own stereo. First you take the screw out under the climate controls. Then it's just a matter of slowly but with pressure pulling the (in my case) chrome trim off around the climate control, stereo and empty space where your screw is located. Then the stereo mounted in presently will have a screw at each of the four corners; remove those while holding the stereo in place. Then just un hook your antenna and you're wiring harness from the back and repeat process for the new head unit. Its very easy, go to your local GM parts counter and order a pigtail for the blower motor resistor harness, all you need to do is cut and connect the appropriate wires together and youll be all set.

235-75 R15 were approved by my Jeep dealer.
The stock tires are 185-75 R15 and Sam's Club would only go up 1 size. So I had to get the okay from my dealer , which I did and Sam's gave me the 235-75 R15 tires. I have them on my (2) 98 jeeps for about 10 years now.

best way to tell if the alternator is charging is to unhook the battery with the engine running, if it shuts off then you know you have a bad alternator, i wouldn't recommend this with newer vehicles due to the fact you could hurt the computer but an 89 i wouldn't worry about that so much, good luck!

Follow the upper hose leading out of the radiator, at the other end is the thermostat housing. You can remove the housing with hose still attached, be ready to collect a small amount of coolant underneath the Jeep when you take the housing off.

if your oil gauge is showing little to no pressure at all but your engine isn't makes noticeable noises then it could be the pressure sensor, I have this problem and they should only cost like 10 of 15 bucks to buy a new one. Or if it is making a noiceable difference in noise it could very well be something with the oil pump, maybe the pick-up tube that hooks up to it could have came off in the oil pan or cracked oil pump or bad oil pump.

I have a 90 Prism that had the same problem. There is a platic spacer on the brake arm the crumbled with age. it is very hard to see where it is located. I glued a penny and a dime ( the thickness of the space ) to the brake arm....problem solved.
I don't know for sure about the Geo although we do have one but I just went though a similar situation with my Toronado. When I replaced the brake power booster my lights wouldn't shut off. I got under the drivers column and realized that the switch had been moved while moving things around to get the booster out.
On most cars there is a switch (with a little button that moves in and out) that must be up against the brake arm. If it is not up against it, the brakes are reading it as on. When the brakes are depressed up towards you, it depresses the button and registers as being free.
