It most definitely does not. The 97 is 180 degrees inverted from the 95. Completely different.

check your distributor..you might have a bad distrib. o'ring or gasket,causing oil to leak inside of distributor and flooding your iginitor ,causing it to louse power and die.......................how often does it happen. if not have someone or yourself check the fuel pump pressure.... good luck..............

Need a screwdriver or better yet a trim remover. slide the tip between the crank trim disk and the handle. You'll see the c-clip that holds it on. Difficult to get the clip off without it flying on you so be ready to catch it with your other hand. Be patient and take your time so you don't damage the door panel. Use a towel to protect it. I had to do this exact thing last weekend as I had to reconnect the lock mechanism in my passenger door. Total work time from start to finish was about 20 minutes.

If you stand on the passanger side of the car, to your left will be the engine wall(between the engine and the inside of your car).There is kind of a gap. At the bottom of the wall is a rubber spigot. It is not easy to see. You can use an air compressor to blow out the clog. You may have to come back a few days later and do it again. In the mean time, under the car on the floor boards are rubber seals, you can take them out to let the water drain. DO NOT loose them, you need to put them back ASAP because it will let carbon dioxide into your car--very bad.

A Mitsubishi Mirage is a terrific car. It looks great, and is a wonderful first vehicle. Part of the reason for this is the relative low cost of oil, as it hold a mere three quarts.Ê

First you take out the back seat and you should have a plug in the middle you take that out and the fuel pump is right there. I suggest buying a Chilton book for it and it should tell you the proper way to take it out.

if buying a new light bulb, fuse, and relay dosent work, make sure that the wire that goes to the harness on the bulb is in all the way. just pull on the wire alittle bit. not to hard. if one of the wires comes out put it back in and move it around. the light should brighten, buy a replacemtn conecter tip like the one on the wire. crimp it on and plug it in. that should fix it.

I had this same prob and had to have the entire blinker assembly replaced, cost over $120.00.

The camshaft is found on the right side of the engine, on the distributor. Replacement is very easy since the distributor remains in place.

I just had to change mine last week. It's in the fuse panel, relay #08.

You haav to loosen the idler pulley lock nut and turn the adjusting bolt to let the tension off the old one. Put the new one on and tighten the adjusting bolt until the belt is tight and then tighten the idler pulley lock nut.
