The 1999 Nissan Maxima does not have a cabin air filter. It never came with one.

Raise the front end of the vehicle. Support it securely on jack stands. Remove the tires. Turn the steering wheel either all the way left or all the way right whichever side you are doing first. Use a 14mm wrench remove the lower caliper bolt, using a big c clamp, collapse the caliper piston. Lift the bottom of the caliper all the way and remove it from the bridge, then remove the brake pads and install the new ones the same way installation is reverse of how you removed the caliper.

spark plug setting should be .044

The water pump is located in between the timing belt, behind the timing belt cover, very close to the thermostat, just follow the large hose from the radiator to the thermostat on the left side of the motor facing it, good luck.

Start by climbing into the trunk and locating the three metal clips in the back, one in the middle and one each of the far sides. You'll need two people for this project. Have the person in the trunk use a screwdriver to lift up the clips while another person in the back seat of the car pulls the seat toward them. Once all the clips are off the frame, you can pull the seat down. Carefully lift up the thing in the back (don't know what it's called, above the seat and under the window, you'll notice it's directly above the speakers) so not to tear it. Once that is lifted you should be able to see the top of the speakers. Now's the fun part of trying to undo all the screws in a relatively tight space. Once the screws are gone, lift the speaker up and down through the hole. Then simply slip the new speaker through the same hole and fasten the new screws. Keep in mind the speaker are 6"x9" and as long as you get that size, they will fit perfectly (it's a wonderful thing!)

1-6-2-4-3-5 its is a counter clockwise firing dist.

The EGR on the 95 Century is on the drivers side, towards the back of the engine.

1. Unplug the triangular electrical connector on top of the EGR.

2. Remove the two 8mm bolts that secure the black shroud protecting the linkage to the air intake. If I wasn't clear enough, just look at the front bolt on the EGR, you'll see that the black shroud has a slot that shares the same front bolt and has to be moved out of the way to R&R the EGR.

3. Now all you have to do is remove the front and rear bolts on the EGR and you can then pull it up and off.

4. If you made it this far, just do the same thing in reverse with the new valve,

Be sure that your gasket is aligned before you tighten down the valve.

BTW, the entire operation took me just 10 minutes to complete, it's a piece of cake.

How do u remove break light sensor

The 2001 Nissan Maxima runs on premium unleaded (required).

It's just to the right of the fuse door where the dash ends. There's a white ODBII connector

Check the sidewalls of your tires. It is "printed" there.

Cylinder 3 misfire is correct.

* Disconnect the negative battery cable * Drain the coolant from the radiator and the engine block * On SOHC engines detach the upper radiator hose from the coolant outlet at the intake manifold and the radiator,then unbolt the hose clamp at the timing belt cover and remove the radiator hose.Detach the bypass hose from the thermostat cover * On DOHC engines remove the drivebelts and the idler pulley bracket.Also remove the lower radiator hose and the water pump drain plug from the side of the block which faces the front of the vehicle * Remove the thermostat cover from the engine.Be prepared for some coolant to spill as the gasket seal is broken * Remove the thermostat,noting the direction in which it was installed * Scrape off any old gasket or sealant on the thermostat housing and the thermostat cover,then clean them with lacquer thiner

The short answer is yes. Both the 1989 and 1990 models use the RS5F50A manual or RE4F02A automatic transmission.

The PCV valve is located on the back, drivers side of the intake manifold in a short, rubber hose. It is threaded into the intake manifold close to the last "N" in Nissan which is imprinted into the intake manifold. It requires a 3/4" wrench to remove it.

I would start with 4.25 qts. It may take 4.5 qts of oil. IIRC, the dipsticks on these cars can be tricky to read.

The 2009 Nissan Maxima has a drag coefficient of 0.33 Cd.

Just go to any dealer and ask for assistance, they should do it for free.

Stand in the front of the car and follow the upper radiator hose on the left. The thermostat should be in the housing where the radiator hose ends.

I just replaced mine today. I have a 99 maxima 3.0 The gasket was $23 at Pep Boys.

The 2012 Nissan Maxima's engine produces 290 hp @ 6400 rpm.
