How do you fix P1155 error code AF Ratio sensor in a Toyota RAV4 2003?

Bank 2 sensor 1 Air fuel sensor heater circuit. This sensor is NOT an O2 sensor, though it operates like one and in the same location(in exhaust stream). Basically the PCM detected that the heater circuit was drawing excessive amperage or no amperage. Usually it's a bad a/f sensor and replacing it will fix it, however, it doesn't rule out the possibility of damaged wiring or an open in the power or ground circuit, or a short in the power or ground circuit.

How do you replace the oil filter located on a 2002 Hyundai Sonata 4 cylinder?

"TAke the trans pan off and it is there. It will takre about 4 quarts of trans fluid to refil the trans."

If the question refers to the engine oil filter, then it is located on the passenger side of the vehicle, just to the right of the engine oil pan. There is a suspension fork just under the oil filter, so you have to look above that or around it and you will see the filter. The top of the oil filter will be facing to the left, pointing toward the passenger side tire. There is a small flap on the left of the filter that you will have to push out of the way to get your hand on the top of the filter. I recommend jacking up that side of the car a few inches to get your arm in there. I also recommend using a FRAM filter, that way you can take advantage of the top grip feature so that you can get a much better grip on the filter and remove it very easily. Remember to "moisten" the gasket on the new filter before installing it. The Sonata takes 5 quarts of whatever premium oil you want to use, however, I cannot recommend a brand without starting an argument. I believe the car manual call for 5w30, but I have used 10w30 with no issues. Best of luck...

How do you change fuel filter on 2002 Toyota RAV4?

2002 RAV-4...... have never seen an in-line filter, service manual indicates that it is an "in-tank" filter. Usually big bucks $$$ (maybe $300-400 service fee.) If the car stutters on acceleration and picks up with pressing pedal down further, pull off air in-take "to engine" and spray with carb cleaner in and around neck to remove sludge in the throttle body area, wipe clean. Spray into again with engine running to clean further down inside. Service Tech at Toyota Dealer says that they have "almost never " seen a fuel filter problem with this car, usually just dirty in-takes.

How easy is it to change the clutch on a 4wd rav4?

4WD RAV4 gearbox removal

In Truth no its not easy--It CAN be done on axle stands and the engine DOES NOT have to come out, and the AIR CON DOES NOT NEED DRAINING you have to remove both strut assemblies complete with drive shafts, unbolt yet tie up the steering rack--dont let it come off the column, anti roll bar, Front sub frame, Main sub frame, starter motor, gear linkage assy's, wiring mounts of gearbox, disconnect & remove prop shaft--EXHAUST STAYS UN-TOUCHED, remove coolant pipes.

Use an engine hoist to support the engine while you remove all the gubbins mentioned above and leave the engine mounted on the alternator belt end engine mount only put a trolley jack under the engine sump and relocate the engine hoist onto the gearbox (3 point lift with a come along is best). Undo all the gearbox holding bolts not forgetting 2 on the alternator belt side of the transfer case. Split the joint and slowly pull out the gearbox bit by bit till there is a 12mm gap. Lower the trolley jack so the engine sags on the mount and lower the engine hoist bit by bit till the alternator belt tensioner is 1mm off the inner wing. The engine and box are now at about 25 degrees towards the floor, pull the box off further and tilt it towards the back of the car slightly to get the transfer case around the bell housing.

Next replace every wear item and now is the tricky part, organise your lift so the come along (Lever hoist) is used to get the right angle and manouvre the gearbox into position. This took me 2 hrs of up, down change the lift, up then down and change the lift (9 times till i got it spot on and it just goes clunk into position.

Then re-assemble. It took me 17.5 hrs to do a 2001 4wd 5sp manual rav4 with aircon.

How do you change the rotors on a 2000 silverado?

first of course take tire off, the off pull the caliper break pads and all should be two bolts more than likely an Allen head, they will be on the back side of the caliper, when you get the caliper out of your way, then you can remove the rotor sometime the fall off with a slight pull with your hand if not, take a hammer and don't hit the rotor to hard hit it on top first it should move and possibly come off if not spin the hub were you can now hit the bottom the rotor should fall off the studs and then slide the new on in its place, when putting the caliper back on screw like two lug nuts back on it will hold the rotor in place while you mount the caliper back on the take the lugs of the studs and put the tire on and your ready to go

How do you change rotors on a 1996 explorer?

I am no mechanic by any means but I do know a little, I have changed brakes before in my time but mostly on small cars and one blazer that I had. Usually the rotors are held on by the brake calipers, the unit that houses the brake pads. Look behind the caliper in order to find the 2 bolts that support the whole unit, be sure they are the correct ones and carefully remove them by means of a wrench, socket or alien key. Once you have removed the brake caliper place it down carefully without rupturing or twisting the brake line. You bay have to pry open the brake pads or make space between the disk and brake pads by moving the brake piston back into the caliper housing like a turtle would put its head back into its shell in order to loosen off the caliper. Be careful not to damage the rubber seal located around the piston head. Once you have loosened the caliper and have laid it down away from the rotor, the rotor should easily be pulled off. Have a small hammer to softly hit it from behind if you need to do so.
