How do you replace a front right turn signal assembly unit on a Jeep Liberty?
Before beginning, take note of whether you need a replacement bulb also. If you broke the turn signal assembly, there's a good chance you'll need a new bulb.
0.) Locate a suitable replacement assembly at a local dealer, salvage yard, or online parts retailer. Pay no more than $50. Don't forget to specify "driver or passenger" side, as this unit is not symmetrical.
1.) Disconnect the negative terminal from your battery using a 10mm socket/wrench.
1.5) Stop telling yourself that it's okay to skip step #1 and disconnect the battery already.
2.) Use T15 Torx head screwdriver to remove the only retaining screw from the unit. This screw is located on the front of the lens near the grille.
3.) Pull unit free from grill/fender. Grasp plastic assembly firmly in one hand. Grasp black bulb socket in the other hand. Rotate the bulb socket 30 degrees counterclockwise to separate the two pieces.
4.) Replace bulb if necessary.
5.) Clean any skin oils from the bulb with rubbing alcohol. Ignoring this warning will shorten the life of the bulb. Do this whether you replaced the bulb or not!
4.) Place bulb socket into replacement unit, rotating 30 degrees clockwise to secure
5.) Fit unit into grill and fender flare. Replace T15 Torx screw.
6.) Reconnect negative battery terminal.
7.) Turn your key one notch to "run" and turn on the turn signal to verify that it works.

Relay is located under the dash above the fuse box (driver's side)(just above the hood release)(small black plastic can- 1" x 2'). I am going thru this problem as of now. Of course, finding a replacement is a challenge. Looks like I will have to go to a dealer (none in my area).

Why should you use your turn signal well in advance or a turn?
Reason number one - it is a law.
Reason number 2 - it allows other drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists to know what your intentions are.
False. Pull over immediately. Turn on flashers. Do not drive until hood is back down and secured.
Any motorcycle in any state must be equipped with turn signals to be considered road worthy. Dirt bikes and other bikes without turn signals are considered illegal on main roads. Thank you for your answer to my question but I'm afraid you are mistaken. Currently only 20 states require turn signals. An additional 4 states require them based on the year of manufacture. (Data provided by Harley Owners Group) To rephrase the question; If I live in Indiana and my 1967 Harley is not required to have turn signals can I ride it to all of the lower 48 states without being illegal?

How do you light a light bulb without electricity?
The only way a light bulb could be lit without electricity would be if it wasn't an electric bulb, or the "light" wasn't from an electric filament. I once had a miner's torch that was lit by igniting acetylene gas, but I wouldn't call it a "light bulb".
Electric light bulbs will only light with electricity. There is no other way short of breaking them open and igniting something inside of them, but then they aren't electric lights anymore.

You don't. The design of an ordinary light bulb is to operate with a voltage supply.

Where is the turn signal flasher location on a 2002 Chevy silverado?
The Signal Flasher is on the back side of the Fuse Panel. To access it, remove the fuse panel cover in the driver side end of the instrument panel (you can see it when you open the door).
You will have to disengage the fuse panel from its mounting clips and work it to where you can turn it face down to access the flasher mounted to the backside. A pain in the butt!
I looked under there, and decided to try something different. I removed the two 7mm hex screws holding the lower dash fascia, and pulled the fascia off. The flasher was right there. Still a bit difficult to remove, but fairly straightforward.
What do the symbols on the fuse card represent?
The components/circuits that the fuse is protecting. best to look in the user manual for full list, sometimes there's not enough room on the card to show all of the protected circuits so the full breakdown will be in the manual.

How do you replace the front turn signal bulb located on a 2000 BMW 323?
There is a hole on the edge of your hood that is directly behind the turn signal lamp. When you look directly inside, you'll see a piece of plastic. That's not where you need to go. Instead, go about 1 inch behind that and about 1 to 2 inches deeper. That's what you need to push down with a flathead screwdriver. Push down and forward to nudge the lamp out of its socket.
Hope this helps someone. It took me a LONG time to finally get mine out. I wasn't ready to pay another arm and leg to change something that was supposed to be simple. :) Good luck.

AnswerExcellent help provided here - The only thing I would add is that you may want to use an extra long flathead screwdriver. The plastic tab that you need to press down on is pretty deep inside the hole.Answer
I agree this is excellent help. I just wanted to add that this also works for a 1999 BMW 323.
ANSWER
So easy!! Look in the little hole, the second in from the front. You'll see a little silver tab. It's plastic, don't break it. The tab you need is about 1.5 inches below. Poke around. It will just pop out, THAT EASY!! Don't remove any thing from the headlight assembly.
Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1994 Olds Cutlass Ciera?
Behind the Ashtray I just fixed mine last night. It turns out that it was attached by a clip on the right side of the ashtray frame inside the dashboard. I took out the removable "cup" part of the ashtray, then removed the two upper and two lower ashtray frame screws. Next, I pulled the frame forward and disconnected the small ashtray light. The power wire for the cigarette lighter can stay attached. After that, it was easy to replace the flasher unit.
