How much does it generally cost to fix a coil pack on a 97 Chevy Cavalier 4 cylinder?

I don't know the cost of the part, but the labor is easy enough to do at home. the hardest thing about it is the visual angle with the intake manifold in the way. They are located bahind the engine about half way down and are bolted on by three 13 mm bolts and the two wiring connectors. one of the three bolts also holds a small vacuum control, no big deal though. Just remember to reattach the plug wires to the right coils. simply follow from plug to coil then attach.

What will be the effect on cigarette market if cure for lung cancer founds?

It varies. If the surgery or invasive(sp?) drug is cheap, common sense would dictate that every average-joe-smoker would light up even more now that the threat of lung cancer is gone. If its expensive, one can imagine a sort of rich mans salve type of deal where every smoking celebrity gets the surgery after their plastic surgery and detox. Expanding upon that, If it was cheap, one sees the cost of cigarettes raising because its one of those "We make it and you will buy it" markets. It varies. What is Meaning of human skull tattoo smoking cigarette?

I have one because that is my favorite painting by Van Gogh, Skull with burning cigarette. It has no specific meaning except that I have always, since childhood, loved that painting.

Something to consider:Tatoos, all tatoos, are meant to be displayed for an audience, some sort of audience, in some sort of venue or situation. No suggestion of exhibitionism is made here, just the attempt to paint a picture of context.

So, for a tatoo to have meaning, it must have meaning, real or symbolic, to all who view it, or that intended meaning is void.

It is possible for the tatooed person to apply personal meaning to the ink that marks his skin, but that becomes a personal matter, and in most situations is self-determined.

Therefore, it is pointless to ask the meaning of something that should either be commonly shared by all who would view the symbol, or could not possibly be known because only one entity in the universe has attached any meaning to it at all.

Why do cars smoke?

Assume you mean that it's burning oil. Typically that's because of poor maintenance or abuse.

  • There are several reasons that an engine will burn oil and most of the time these are caused by inadequate oil changes:
  • poor piston ring seal (cylinder taper, worn rings and/or carbon deposits in the piston ring grooves.)
  • Worn or faulty valve guide stems
  • SOMETIMES bad rod bearing can cause pistons to vibrate, allowing too much oil to remain on the cylinder walls.
  • A cracked piston can also cause quite a bit of oil burning, but that's quite rare.
BUTSometimes a sticking injector or a plugged air filter will cause a "wash down" situation, in which too much fuel gets into the cylinders, the fuel mixes with what little oil is on the cylinder walls, and the fuel and oil burn.

Also

White smoke indicates coolant entering the combustion chamber. Normally caused by a blown head gasket or cracked head. Blue smoke is oil burning, and black smoke is an overly rich fuel/air mixture.

IFit's black smoke (too much fuel) it can be caused by a sticking injector, faulty sensor or plugged air filter.

Note that if coolant is entering the combustion chamber there will be other indicators, such as serious misfiring and/or coolant will be blown from the water jacket. Without those indicators you are probably not getting water in the combustion chamber

If you are a female and you smoke will you get cancer before you die?

Most likely yes. If you smoke a lot you are most likely to get cancer anyways. Being a female or male does not change the amswer. With all of the tar bilding up inside the body beside the lungs, it is very normal for you to get cancer. If you only smoke a little, you may get cancer. Remember whether you smoke a little or a lot, tar will still build up by your lungs.

Is it true when plastic cigarette filter companies claim their filters can filter out 90 percent of tar and nicotine?

I am a 2 pack per day smoker. I have also been using these filters for over 5 years now so I guess I am qualified to answer this question.

The Arista Scientific Study that was performed on this product was pretty well documented and conducted under very scientific conditions. They are no slouches and protect their reputation pretty closely.

There appears to be an inverse relationship to the strength of the cigarette and the percentage of tar and nicotine that is removed. With Marlboro Red, a higher percentage of Tar and Nicotine is removed than in a Marlborough light. I would imagine a non filtered Picayune would produce incredible results.

I am a light cigarette smoker so do I think these filters are removing 90% of the tar and nicotine in my cigarettes? Probably not. Does it remove a lot? Absolutely YES!

In fact, for me, it works so well that I can not smoke a cigarette without one. On the rare occasion when I do, I find myself coughing much more than when I do use them.

When I see the amount of tar and nicotine that is being trapped and thrown into the trash, rather than going into my lungs, without affecting the flavor of my cigarettes, I don't ask if it 70,80,90%, I just know that as smoker, I am reducing the risks associated with smoking.

They will still probably kill me but I love to smoke. I not only can't quit, I don't want to quit. Cigarettes have become terribly expensive but I still smoke. They are bad for my health but I still smoke. My health insurance is significantly higher than a non smoker but I still smoke......but I use plastic filters to reduce the amount of tar and nicotine that enters my lungs but I still get the full flavor taste of my favorite cigarette.

Where is Yamaha c3 oil filter?

It doesn't have an oil filter per-se, rather an oil strainer. Sorta a screen.

Anyway, it's on the center of the engine block on the bottom. Looks like a giant bolt. After draining your oil, get a big crescent wrench and remove it (doesn't require much torque at all despite the big bolthead.) Clean the screen with compressed air, and re-assemble so that the spring is underneath the strainer. Also be sure the o-ring is properly in place.
