Code 52 means the system is compensating "full lean" because the oxygen sensor has been telling the ECU that the system is running rich and needs less fuel. This code comes up when the system can't take away anymore fuel (it has preset limits). It could be alot of things causing the problem, unfortunately I can't tell you any one thing to check.

You would have to change your PCM and possibly all of the wiring. If you are going from auto to man. or man. to auto you open a door for alot more problems. It could be done but unless you have torches, air comp. and air tools, proper lifts and stands, jacks, sockets, a garage for two to three weeks and a buddy who knows how to rewire it's just not worth it. A haynes manual for each car would help alot. If you don't do it yourself it could cost $2500 - $5000 or more. Buy the manuals at atuo zone and just see how much is involved in just a rebuild. It's a thing that some players do to look cool. It has nothing to do with the actual rules or operation of the game.

I'm assuming you mean the "Change Oil" light reset switch. It is located inside the fuse panel on the driver side of the dash. With the door open, remove the side panel of the dash and the switch is a red button. Turn the key to "On", hold the button in. The light will flash several times and then you will hear beeps, release the button. The light will stay off until it decides you need to change oil again.

There is a very easy way to solve this. Just pust your key in and turn it to the on position. Then, pump the gas four times and the change oil light will reset.

^^^ not really sure if you're supposed to do that. The button works just fine. And the light just automatically comes on after 3000 miles (maybe even something like 2900... I've never counted but it seems like it comes on well before you really need to get the oil changed.) You don't need to hurry out and get an oil change just because the light comes on.

STEPS TO TAKE:

1. TURN key on, wait till dinging stops so you can focus

2. PRESS red button in fuse panel once.

(VERIFY change oil light starts blinking)

3. PRESS and HOLD same reset button a second time... UNTIL

(VERIFY that door chimes sound )

... door chimes quit and the Change oil light turns off in front of you.

4. TURN off ignition and restart the car at your convenience. ;o)

If you have a manual transmission and it sounds like you do your clutch has become worn unevenly and shudders as it gains then loses contact with the flywheel or "slips", also the grinding is a bad sign. It could be the flywheel but more likely it is the clutch.On a 2001 depending how it has been driven replacement may be a wise choice especially with the grinding noise that indicates scoring of the flywheel. On the other hand if it is an automatic transmission first check fluid levels then it may need to be serviced, theres not much you can do for an auto trans yourself.

a 97 should NOT be having problems with the O2 sensors. but there are many. A couple right behind the manifolds and also on the exhaust pipe. But there could be many other reasons the O2 sensor could be showing up as a problem code. 20's will fit on a Sebring. Yes you will probably encounter some rubbing to the left and right when making sharp turns, its an easy fix. Have the shop (or whatever) that is mounting them cut out part of the wheel welds and it will eliminate the problem.
