It is located on a bracket about 8 or 9 inches above the pedal pad for the brakes...should have an electrical connector plugged into the back end of it. Pending on cruise control the assembly could be plastic or threaded metal as the switch body.

In order to change any of the tail light bulbs in a Chevy Celebrity it is necessary to remove the light fixture:

1. Inside the trunk next to the quarter panel there are three nuts. Remove the center nut on the side you want to remove. It should line up with the center of the light fixture.

2. Pull the fixture out until the stud clears the body.

3. Pull gently outward to pull a tab out of the backup light fixture.

4. Unlock the appropriate socket and remove from the fixture. Change the light bulb and reassemble.

turn your head lights on and try to start it if the headlights go out its more than likely your battery if they stay bright or barely dim its your starter

try the lights, do they turn on? if yes, then it probably isn't the battery. if its the starter motor, you should hear a loud clicking sound from the engine when you turn the key in the ignition. if this is the problem, turn the car off, open the door, stand on the sill at the side of the car while holding the edge of the roof and rock the car. if the car starts after this - its your starter.

If your starter was bad your car would not even crank. If its your battery the starter will click repeatedly.

The 2003 Chevy S 10 pickup truck turn signal flasher relay switch can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The turn signal flasher relay switch will be between the gas pedal and the brake pedal.

This is not too difficult. I have three 1990 Reattas so have done this a couple of times. Look in the Owners Manual to get the correct bulb, the dealer may or may not have it but auto supply places such as Auto Zone do, it cost about $10, it is not just a bulb, it is a small module with the bulb in it. Repalcing this bulb is almost like changing the oil. You'll have to crawl under the front bumper and remove 2 screws from the 3-inch splash guard so you can get the splash guard out of the way, you do not have to remove the entire splash guard. Then just reach up to the turn-signal bulb module and pull it out, it may take a little wiggling to get it out if it has been there for a number of years. Then put in the new module. Once you buy the replacement module and look at it, it becomes obvious what to do and which of the many lights is the turn-signal. The smaller the fingers, the easier it is to do as it is a tight fit. If you have a big hand with larger fingers, it may be more difficult. It took me 30+ minutes the first time I did it as I had to figure out what to do, but the last time ( 6 months ago) it took about 10 minutes.

Fuse's are used to limit electrical current to a "safe" level within an electrical appliance. Since the fuse has blown it indicates that something as happened within the television which is causing it to draw an excessive amount of electrical current. The most likely cause is that a component has failed in a "shorted" state. Identifying the specific component will require some experience in electronic troubleshooting.

I just changed the whole headlight assembly in my 1997 grand caravan. However, to change the parking light or turn signal indicator light, there is a round plastic plate in the front fender well in front of the tire. Pop this out and reach in and unplug the socket from the light assembly, change the bulb and install in reverse order. Good luck!

Open the trunk lid and pull the upholstery from the rear of the trunk. You will find white and black plastic wing nuts. Remove the white ones on the side you are working on and swing the lens assembly up. If you don't like standing on your head to work on the lights, remove all of the white and black wing nuts and pull the tail light assembly to the rear. Replace the bulbs. Jack

sounds like your starter, some times if you get under neath the car and hit the starter a few times with a rubber mallet or a hammer. It will break free if its froze up, but if it won't turn over after doing that then your starter is toast. If the starter goes it sometimes takes out the battery too. so you might need a new one as well.

The oxygen sensors in a 2005 Chevy Malibu are in the exhaust system. You'll find them at the end of the down pipes and behind the catalytic converter.

there's a tensioner fairly obvious on the left side of the engine. The tensioners often lose strength on these engines. they're about 15 bucks depending on where you go. loosen the bolt on the swingarm of the tensioner and remove the belt. Re route the belt the same way. When you retighten the bolt on the tensioner and it will bring the belt back to the correct tension.

I would take it and get the charging system tested, they usually do it for free at AUtozone. If your handy with a voltage meter and know the wires to touch you can see what your alternator is putting out. But you won't be able to put a draw on the system the way they can at AZ. I suggest you take it there before you are left sitting stranded at night in the dark. That's not a good thing. the starter is under the intake on the 2.4 liter. look between your valve cover and the firewall.easiest way to change it is pull your intake,mass airflow sensor,etc

I believe u can remove the air intake box and a couple of hoses and pull the starter out that way easier, but you will still have to get under the car to get to the starter to unbolt the it

in the fuse box either in the engime compartment or on the driver side under the dash near the door there is a fuse box also.

First, sheck if your fuse is working after that see if any of your sterio cables are touching and if they are separate them and put black tape and then pop your hood and see if the tail light fuse is working and if its no change it. that what i did and it work on mine.

I had all the lights on my dash go out and discovered it was the dimmer swith. The connection had become corroded and I was able to replace it with one from the local Pick-n-Pull for $2.99. My local parts store said it would be $102.50, not including tax, IF they could get it. Best of luck to you!

The door sensor is an integral part of the door latch mechanism. The sensor cannot be replaced independent of the latch. A sensor appears on each of the four doors, as well as the tailgate. WD40 sprayed on the sensor sometimes frees it up (you must remove the interior door panels to access -- it's part of the latch and difficult to see because it's well hidden inside the door), but just as often, WD40 won't cure it. You can also remove the 15Amp fuse in position 14 in the box located beneath the driver's side of the dash. This will disable the interior lights as well as the running board lights (good), but it also disables the power windows (bad). This will, however, solve the problem of the lights remaining on after the doors are shut and running down your battery. The only true fix is the replace the affected latches. They sell for approx. $55 on the Web, and unless you're mechanically inclined, and very patient, you should have the dealer do it for you (expensive). Malfuntioning door sensors are a very common problem on Expeditions, Explorers and Windstars.

If you are having starting problems replace the starter solenoid switch attached to the short positive battery cable. Well, it could be the starter solenoid, but if you can wiggle the gear shift while turning the key and get it to start, it is definitely the neutral safety switch...oldest electrical gremlin in the book. Climb underneath and look for the linkage between the shifter and the transaxle. Have somebody move the shift (battery negative disconnected of course) to help you identify it. The switch in most front wheel drive vehicles is mounted on the transaxle and is identifiable by at least one electrical wire and the shift linkage as well as being obviously adjustable by loosening a bolt and rotating the switch. Be careful that you don't adjust it so that it will start in any gear except neutral or park. Adjust..test..adjust..test..etc. Jolly good fun.

A diode is made up of a P-Type and an N-Type semiconductor. P-Type has "missing" electrons (in a sense); N-Type has extra electrons (in a sense). This means that if you have current going through the two semiconductors from N-type into P-type, it should be easier than normal to apply the current because there is a potential difference between the N-type and P-type because of their relative "positivity" and "negativity". ...but if you reverse the voltage, then you are going against this potential difference and hence the voltage is impeded, resulting in a 0 current (in theory). This will only happen until the reverse voltage exceeds a threshold ampage, at which point the current will shoot up (in reverse).

passanger side near. open the door. it will be on the dashboard when you first open the door. a panel on the side of the dash should say fuse panle. look on the back of the panel and it should tell you which fuse is the one for the radio.
