Go to your local autoparts store and buy an adapter.
What size of speaker goes in rear?
look at the speaker it will tell you what size it is
You don't need to cut the wires at all, I just got mine installed in 5 minutes with the adapter speaker plug, you can get them from Amazon or eBay for 16 bucks. You save a lot of time and you don't mess up the wire system of your car with the black tape and stuff.
This is a replaced rds radio not original can you unlock it?
I bought this RDS Radio on Ebay and installed it in my 1999 Cadilac Deville. How do get the Anti-Theft unlocked so I can play it?
What do the red black and yellow wires go to in your car stereo?

"Guh deh" is a phrase in Jamaican Patois that translates to "go there" in English. It is often used to indicate direction or to encourage someone to go to a specific place. The phrase can also carry a colloquial or informal tone, reflecting the vibrant and expressive nature of Jamaican culture.
The loudspeaker converts voltage to sound pressure. The higher the voltage at the speaker, the higher is the acoustic pressure you get.
What is the red and the yellow wires for on a pioneer supertuner 3?
the red is your main power wire, it makes the stereo turn on. The yellow is the memory and needs to be hooked to a constant or always hot lead, so you don't have to readjust your stereo every time you turn it on and off.
How do you get to the rear speakers on a 95 Toyota 4runner in order to change them?
Remove the cartpet moldings by the second row seats. You will have to remove the covers off the seat belt holders behind the seats, remove the rear roof console above the back window. The entire section is snapped into place where the speakers are. Start by putting your hand behind the panel near the second row seating and working your way to the rear of the vehicle. Kind of a pain but was easy as well. The whole panel will come off. Repeat for other side. Unless modifications are done you will only get 6" round speakers in rear. 6x9 speakers will not work unless modified.
How do you bridge three subs to a two channel amp?
3 passive sub at 8 ohm imp in parralel will be 2.6+ impedence. Most of the professional sum amp can take up to 2 ohms load per channel(check the spec of the Amp)eg: you should be able to connect max 4 subs in each channel(match the watts pwr to amp)
What color is the wire that goes to the automatic choke on a 1973 Volkswagen beetle?
The wire that goes to the automatic choke is actually black. You can find the complete wiring diagram here. http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/info/wiringt1.php

It's whatever color the last guy to change the wire had some of in his toolbox. These cars are old enough and have been worked on by so many people, they're all different. There is one wire running from the + terminal on the coil to the carb. It connects to the automatic choke, and to the fuel cutoff plunger.
The reason for using a capacitor is to prevent low frequencies reaching the tweeter. Low frequencies will affect the output quality of the tweeter at best and can easily damage it.
Bass speakers are frequently driven with a coil which is (approximately) the opposite of a capacitor in that they block high frequencies and pass low frequencies. However, the presence of high frequencies in a bass speaker tend not to cause any noticeable issues. The speaker itself is a coil so it tends to attenuate the high frequency currents without additional coils. Furthermore, the high frequencies won't be heard because the speaker simply doesn't move at those frequencies.
The science of crossovers for speakers is complex. To get the right crossover for a high and low frequency driver takes a significant amount of calculation and the speakers themselves have an effect of the characteristics. The advice above is very general and the results of not using a crossover are unpredictable.
If possible, it is generally more effective to use a line level crossover. This will process the signal and separate it to two or three signals. It does it without relying on the characteristics of the speakers so it provides a very accurate crossover. However, as well as the cost of the line level crossover, each speaker needs its own amplifier channel so costs can rise significantly.
How do you replace the antenna mount on a 2001 Chevy Silverado?
Unscrew it.... It's basically a screw on the buttom. If you want to get to the base of the antenna, I found this on another site:
"...removing the fender well panel behind (aft of) the tire. Doing that should allow you to see everything under there."
Is it ok to hook a 16 ohm Speaker up to a 8 ohm amp?
A1: The output impedance of a power amplifier is always less than 0.1 ohms. There are no 8 ohm amplifiers on the market!
A2: I actually just bought a new car radio/CD player that specifically shows 4 ohm speakers on the sticker. It is designed to work optimally with 4 ohm speakers. If you use 8 ohm instead, it will work, but you will not get the full power output that is specified. The amp can only kick out so much voltage and so much amperage - if it is designed for 4 ohm speakers, and 200 watts (stereo, so 100 watts per speaker), it can supply 20 volts (P = V^2 / R). If you used 8 ohm speakers to this amplifier, each speaker would only get 50 watts powered at full output voltage.
Alternatively, if it is designed for 8 ohm speakers and 100 watts per speaker, it can provide 40 volts. If you used 4 ohm speakers instead, each speaker could be given 200 watts at 40 volts, resulting in severe overheating and damage to the amplifier.
This applies to your case as well: it is OK to hook up higher impedance speakers to a lower impedance amplifier, but you will get less power delivered. If you do the opposite (lower impedance speakers to higher impedance amplifier), keep the volume low or you could burn out the amp.
How do i determine the best size for a subwoofer box?
look at the manufacture's specs for the subs. They will most likely give you a description of exactly wht you need
Is there an amp for the subwoofer in a 2001 Lincoln Navigator?
The amp is right next to the subwoofer. They are both located behind the rear driver side panel.
How do you wire a stock 2000 silverado stereo to a sub amplifier?
sonicelectronix.com has a lot of things that could help you with adding an amplifier to your stock system. If you didn't want to spend any extra money then you can split the speaker wires for your rear speakers and have them go to the speakers and the high level inputs(if available).
Is there a tracking or transmitting device available to help track a car you are trying to repo?
There are several devices, BUT, if you can get close enough to attach the device, you can REPO it. You are a tad late on this idea. Theuy are usually installed by the dealer BEFORE the car is sold. Of course, then, they dont need YOU. The device shuts the car off and they drive to it and go.
But a good reason for a tracking device would be if the vehicle you are trying to repo is blocked in or in a garage and you don't want to risk being seen. Wish they had a tracking device that was magnetic and you could attach to vehicle and monitor it on laptop so that you can find out POE or what store they grocery shop at so you can pick there car up.
