Most likely there is a freon leak or it is empty of freon. If this is not the case then you probably have to replace a sensor that is overloadingas soon as power reaches it.( this usually happens in 2-5 seconds)

If you look on the backside of the climate control unit in the dash you will find a glass buss style fuse. It will be blown. Replace the fuse and your fan will stay on with your headlights.

if they are both 16 -valve engines ,yes if one is 8-valve & the other is 16-valve, then short block only ANSWER: The '95 and '97 Trackers have different sensors and ECU's. The only way you could put a '95 engine in an '97 TRacker would be if you also had the ECU from the '95

Hi, I'll take a stab at this. The most likely culprit that I can come up with if you've checked the normal stuff, (wires and connections, distributor cap and rotor) would be the ignitor. The ignitor is near the coil or in the distributor (carbuetor engines) Of course the ignition coil itself could be bad. I'll again say that I'm only taking a stab after going over the schematics that are in my Chiltons book. I certainly hope this helps and if anyone else has more, please add to this. Good luck. The tun signal flasher on a 1998 Chevy Tracker is located in the dash on the driver's side. It is to the left above the brake pedal.

Yes you can, Infact, I converted my 95 Geo Tracker from a 4 Cyl to a 3.8 V6, It runs a little better, but in my opinion the 4 cyl was better on gas, but this does make it a beast in off-road conditions. I have thrown 20's on it, raised the suspension, but the v6 drops nicely in there, you may have to raise 6 inches to a foot to properly fit, otherwise, fair game. Goodluck!

Take the wheel, brake caliper, and rotor off. Then take the axle nut off. Now rotate the hub assembly so that one of the holes lines up with one of the six point Allen bolts. Loosen all three bolts like that. Then take the hub assembly out and replace it with a new one. You just don't replace the wheel bearing, it comes as a whole installed in a new hub. Installation is in reverse. If I'm correct the torque specs on the axle nut is 140-148lb. ft.

When you replace the timing belt you should replace the water pump and tensioner pulley as well. It may save you in labor costs down the road. But, all together it is about $500.

Hi, If you're talking about the bulb, all you do is turn the locking ring/cap and gently pull the bulb out from the back. Remove the bulb and replace (don't touch the bulb with your fingers) with a new 9004 bulb. When you remove the bulb, be careful not to lose the wave washer if your requires one ( those made in Canada require a wave washer). If your locking cap is just loose and doesn't lock tightly, then you most likely need the wave washer available from your local Suzuki dealer. I tried GM and they said there were none in the country so I went to my Suzuki dealer. Part # 35177-60AB0 about $3.53. If it's the entire headlight assy then start by removing the bulb. The rest of the assy looks as if you need to remove the grill first to get at some screws and be able to remove and reinstall the assy. I've gone out to mine and looked this over. There are some screws on the inside of the engine area, well at least under the hood at the headlight assy. It looks to be a rather straightforward removal and installation. I just would look for prts at a salvage yard (junkyard) or whatever they call it in your area, even auto reclamation area, they all do the same thing. You may have to remove it yourself or they may do it, I've found it varies but I've been able to re-equip my '97 with quite a few things that way. E-Bay is the other place for a complete headlight assy, just try and not pay too much if you go that way. I've also replaced my bulbs (9004) with the Sylvania Ultra and love them, again, just be careful and not touch them. If you get body oil or a fingerprint on a halogen bulb, the bulb gets hotter at the place where you touch it. The light pattern is not correct and the life of the bulb is shortened because it burns hotter at that point and can dramaticly shoten the bulb life. Most generally it is the brake light switch that is attached to the pedal arm bracket assembly. The new part will probably require a minor adjustment to ensure the brake lamps illuminate properly. Pretty simple repair & not all that expensive.

I have the same problem with my Saturn Vue. Am planning to call NHTSA to report the problem and see if it's related to a safety issue--like faulty fuel pump--the sound mine makes seems to be coming from the right side of the car and not from under the hood. I tried to search for issues with Saturn Vues but NHTSA web locked me out of that feature unless I had a complaint #. I'll provide info from the NHTSA after speaking with them on Mon.

go to zukiworld.com the cheap and easy way is to install coil spring spacers however you can buy lift-kits and body lifts from calmini, rockyroad outfitters, boondox, or bds suspension, probably a few more too. With 1"-1&1/2" spacers you can fit 235/75R15 tires of your choosing on stock wheels, or 29x8.50x15. The 2" and 3" lift-kits will allow up to 31" tires, possibly 33"s with suspension and body lift. Tires over 8.5" wide will require wider rims, 5 lug by 5.5" spacing and at least 3.75" backspacing.

Try checking all fuses

On your radio console the bottom right hand corner are two "change" buttons with triangles on the face of each. Hold the Left one down til you see the Hours change, now the right one til the minutes change to your correct time. Hold each for a few seconds and you'll catch on to what is happening.

On the drum there is 2 threaded holes. Take 2 bolts and thread them into the holes, until the cover comes off.

The fuel filter is always located on the fuel intake line going into your carberator. It is usually accessable from the left side of your engine.

If the truck has a 2.5l 6cyl the oil filter is located on the drivers side near the steering arm and below the exhaust. The filter is horizontal and can only be removed from down below. The 2.0l four from the poor picture in the G.M shop manual probaly has the oil filter again on the drivers side but lower down on the engine block.

Standing in front of vehicle, starter will be on your left side (Passenger side). Look under the intake, you should see a black support kinda shaped like a letter Y. You will find the starter just beyond that support.
