This is dependent on the type of vehicle that you may have. You may have to get the replace the clutch.

if it leaks where the cable goes through the cover, check to see if it's tight, if it leaks through the outer carcass you need a new cable, same as the big twin 5 speeds, or just put up with the oozing tranny oil, better yet buy a clear-coated stainless steel braided cable from Barnett....not Taiwan

REMOVE THE SINGLE DRIVE BELT, THEN REMOVE THE 4 MOUNTING BOLTS BETWEEN THE FAN AND THE BELT PULLEY. THE FAN MIGHT NEED TO BE WIGGLED OFF

to install a clutch in a dodge stealth, looks hard but its not. you have to drop the axles out. to do this you take lower ball joints, loose at lower a frame then take the axle nut off at the axle. it will be easier to loosen the sway bar then you can take out the axles. then from there you take the bolts loose from the trans where it bolts to the motor. there are other items you have to remove but its been awhile since I have done one. there is one electrical part that you don't want to get pinched when you go back with the trans.

I believe you can do that there gm engines and both v-6s i have a 1983 s-10 and put a crate engine in it and it looked identical to the one that was in a Pontiac sunfire so i think it would. if you can stick a 350 in them i cant see what you could not put in them,within reason of course hope i helped you....

Use an OBD2 code scanner to find out what's wrong with your vehicle. It will tell you what's wrong and let you clear the code when you're done. If the problem hasn't been taken care of, the computer will set the code again. BTW, why would you replace parts that weren't causing a problem?

A stage 1 clutch is built for street cars that are mildly modified. The clutch has increased clamp loads that allow the capacity to handle the modified engines of the street cars.

is the slave cylander visable under the vehicle?some have the clutch cylander inside the bell housing. if you cannot see the slave cylander you will need to remove transmission and bell housing to get at slave cylander

Could be either a defective starter drive or a broken tooth on flywheel Try turn the engine manually (large socket on crankshaft) to see if it will start- if so problem is a broken tooth - if not problem is probably a bad starter drive. (make sure vehicle is in neutral if std.)

Check for a spring at the very top of the pedal itself, running from the pedal above the pivot point to the firewall. The spring is likely to have come loose and be attached at one end or the other but not both.

Low air suspension refers to the fifth wheel height from the ground. The suspension system (low air leaf) is a suspension system with a lower ride height and is used by many transportation companies because it allows their truck to hook up to a variety of trailers. In modern days, low air leaf has been replaced with Flex Air suspension (low air leaf is still available). Flex air has the same ride height but weighs several hundred pounds less, thus allowing the truck to haul more weight in the trailer.

I would suspect that the clutch slave cylinder is bad. Follow the line down from where you added fluid to find the slave cylinder. After replacing the slave unit you will need to bleed the system then it will work fine again. Mark

It depends on the engine i can move the flywheel on my little 4cyl but theres no way i could move it by hand power in my 460 ford

Type of vehicle would help, but every one I have seen is held in with two bolts and the one line from the master. Take the line loose first and then unbolt it. It should come straight off.

There really is no such thing as clutch fluid. Wet clutches bath in your engine oil and if they are hydrolic use either DOT 3,4 or 5 brake fluid. On my Royal Star Venture it would be DOT 4 brake fluid

no fluid, it has a mechanical clutch cable. just like a bicycle brake cable. just bigger and beefier. there can be many causes: cable bad. pedal end feel off. bell houusing end fell off or the nut on end fell off. the throw out bearing , melted to nothing left. the clutch fingers have melted and bent due to above. the clutch plate cracked and broke up to chunks. seem them all but , bad cable. easy to test, 1 person push pedal , other look at clutch rod. if it dont move 3 inches , then cable is bad. if it does move then clutch is bad. 3 pieces, PedAL, CABLE, CLUTCH.

the dealer is the only place to get a line they are rubber high pressure line and can not be cut and put back together..you cant buy them used because salvage yards do no deal in lines and hoses.i know i looked for one for the same 1995 ranger..dealer part $103.00
