What is mean of 8.8 high tension bolt?
The first figure is the UTS of the bolt in hundreds of Mpa (so an 8.8 bolt fails at 800 Mpa) while the second figure is the percentage of UTS at which plastic deformation occurs, divided by 10. (so your 8.8 bolt stretches permanently at 80% of 800 Mpa, or 640 Mpa).
Do jet engines airplanes have a critical engine?
With the above mentioned answer, it is pretty much correct except for the twin engine aircraft. For the twin engine aircraft, the critical engine is the one that produces a thrust line closest to the fuselage. Example: if the twin engine aircraft is equipped with 2X engines which have the propeller rotating in a clockwise direction, then the left engine will be the critical engine.
This is because the down going blade on the left engine will produce a line of thrust closest to the fuselage compared to the right engine's propeller. So it is safe to say that if the left engine fails, the aircraft will be harder to control because the thrust line produced by the live engine on the right side has a longer arm from the fuselage causing a higher moment wanting to yaw and roll the aircraft to the left which is harder to control compared to if the right engine fails, such as the Piper Twin Comanche aircraft.
However, if the twin engine aircraft is equipped with counter rotating propellers, meaning, the left engine prop rotating clockwise and the right engine propeller rotating counter clockwise, then there is no critical engine, because both down going blades of the propeller produces a thrust line both equal in distance from the center of the fuselage.
How do you bypass the engine immobilizer on a 1996 astra 1.7 diesel engine?
The most simple way to bypass immobiliser is to drill out the bolts or do like i did and chisel off the black box on the back of the fuel pump. behind the black box you will find a fuel shut off solenoid ,put a live to the terminal (black and yellow wire that plugged into black box) you have now by passed the immobiliser
Is the 2000 contour se vct engine a interference engine?
I believe this is not relevant as the 2.5L engines use timing chains and not timing belts. No required maintenance- no belt to break.
Or suspension component bushings.
Will stalling damage a motorcycle engine?
Not really, the engine has little mass and will just stop. Stalling will stretch primary and drive chains perhaps and could put excessive strain on the transmission.
by driving like a nob or simply by carefully placing a c4 and a timer? :)
and what exactly the reason in blowing your engine?
fabricated using quality stainless steel known as Stainless Steel Seamless Tubes
What kind of Engine does a 1990 Chevy S-10 have?
Depends. The Majority Of These Are Equiped With A 4 Cylinder 2.5. However Some Had V6 Engines. The V6 Is Either A 2.8 Or A 4.3 The Short Beds Were 4 Cylinder. The Long Beds You Could Get Anyone Of These Three Engines. If It Is A 4 Cyl. It Would Be a 2.5 If You Have A V6 You Can Find The Size By A Number In The Vin Number. The VIN # Will Be 17 Caracters Long It May Be The Fourth Letter Or Number That Will Tell The Engine Size. Call A Dealer If You Need More Info As To The V6 Displacement. HOPE THIS HELPS
It is when the boost pressure is higher than what the wastegate is set at. Porsche's are know for this, they allow a pressure spike while shifting which a boost in torque output.
What engine is in the rover 75 diesel?
Rover 75 share the BMW 3 series platform and technique. Petrol engines are manufactured by MG Rover (except 4.6 V8 produce by Ford). The 2.0 l diesel, four cylinder inline, turbocharged engines, called CDT-116 PS and CDTI-131 PS, are BMW M47 common-rail diesel engine produced from 1998 to 2007 year. Same engine you can find in BMW 3 and 1 series.
Why would the engine cooling fan on a 1998 Dodge Caravan stay on when engine is cool?
The fan is usually meant to cool the radiator. It shouldn't be anything to worry about. Since the radiator cools the antifreeze that has come from and circulates through the engine, as long as the fan is running, the coolant is remaining at a good temperature and you won't have to worry about overheating.
An engine misfiring simply means that one or more of the cylinders are not compressing and/or igniting the fuel mix like it should. This could be because of a malfunctioning fuel injector, spark plug, it could also be that there is not enough compression in the cylinder to ignite properly, and it could also be an electrical malfunction virtually anywhere wlse in the electrical system.

How do you get more power out of a 305 CID 5.0L Engine?
you could bolt on headers or a new intake you could cam it have it boarded out or put a 4bbl carb put a high rise intake on it there is alot of differaunt ways some pretty cheap or some that could cost you an arm or a leg it depends WA you want to do with the car
get a amp meter they are fairly cheap check both battery cables to make sure they are tight. then check battery cables to make sure both are working properly then check starter wiring and alternator wiring. If none of them are the cause check the voltage regulator
