Has anyone ever used a speedy sleeve to repair a crank shaft seal area?
The only way it would work (long term) to install a speedy sleeve is if the crank had a small groove in it from the old seal.
These sleeves are designed to overcome that problem, not chipping or any other damage. They will work for a seal groove but they can be tricky to install. You might have to buy more than one to get it all the way on without crushing it.
Take your time and be careful and follow the directions to the letter.

What is the valve inlet and exhaust settings V6 3.00?
Unfortunatly there is not enough information to answer this, I suggset getting a Chilton's manual for your vehicle, or going to your local library and looking it up in a Motor manual. You will need to know year, engine size and possibly series, though just having the VIN number can give you this with most books.
When is the proper time to check the oil on a car?
Generally, a car's oil should be checked/changed about every 4,000 miles.
However, if your vehicle has one of those "warning" symbols on your dashboard that lights up when the oil needs to be checked, it's best to give it a look-over.
Also be aware of any signs that signify your oil needs to be checked. If you see that it is leaking from underneath your vehicle, there could be a problem, so have it diagnosed as soon as you can.
Hope this helps!

Where is the pcv valve on a 1999 Chrysler Sebring V6 non-turbo fuel injected engine?
It's on the left (passengers) side of the front valve cover. There's a black hose going into it. It should just pull right out. When it's out it just looks like a nipple thing that rattles unless it's clogged.

I have done this and it's very hard to see. It's on the back side of the motor, somewhere behind the throttle body. Got to WWW.MPVCLUB.COM and ask there. I put pictures in a thread about it but it was long ago and I don't know if the pics are still around or how hard it will be to find the thread.

Does a Chevrolet S10 pickup have a pcv valve for a 4 cylinder?
I I have 98 s-10 with the 2.2 4 banger. I went to auto zone to do the first tune up on it a few years ago, and like aways that was on my list of things to get. They have the part number for it in the book, but they did not have one on the shelf or even a place for it on the shelf. So then me and my friend looked at my truck, and we could not find one for anything, so im kinda going with that it does not have one, unless its not located in the ussual place, on top of the valve cover.
I have a 1992 chevy S10 with a 4 banger and I've spent the six years I've owned it trying to find a PCV valve. I have always been too embarrest to ask anyone. I even bought one six years ago and it is still in the glove box! Finally one day I asked my father who has owned a chain of auto parts stores for 40+ years to try and find it. After laughing at me for a while, I finally asked him to show me where it is. What do you know... he couldn't find it either. This sparked a long research through all his parts books, and finally he found a foot note that mentions "most S10's of this vintage use a very common part #blah blah. but very few were built without PCV's" I guess you and I have one of those "very few."
I had an '88 jeep commanche pickup that had a massive oil leak on the top end when I bought it. At 65mph on the highway I blew out 6 quarts of oil in 20 miles of driving. I pressure washed the engine, started my tune up and found it had no PCV valve. I checked the books and the jeep uses a sealed crankcase system, even the oil fill cap has a gasket and it tightly screwed in place. I drilled a hole in the valve cover, installed a grommet and PCV valve, and spliced into a vacuum line to the intake manifold and never had another problem with oil leaking after that. I now have a '96 S-10 that has a valve cover leaking, looked for a PCV valve and cant find it. Looks like i'm drilling another hole.
Is there a trick to turn off the service engine soon light on a 99 Saturn Sc-1?
For most Saturns there is a button inside the under-hood fuse panel. With the key on and the engine off, press the button for 15 seconds and it should clear the code... I think. I have to refer to the manual whenever I do that so you may have to do the same.
