How can you disable the horn going off every time I press the remore lock on my 2007 Dodge Ram 1500?
I have a 2005 Ram 3500 and in the owners manual under keyless entry it tells how to disable the horn honks. On my truck (and I did do it) the procedure is:
1. Sit in drivers seat and buckle seat belt
2. Turn on ignition (do not start engine)
3. After at least 4 seconds, but no more than 10 seconds, press and hold the lock button on the remote.
4. While continuing to hold the lock button, press the unlock button on the remote.
You should hear a chime (if not then start over)
5. Turn off ignition key

the check engine light is on because there is an existing code in the computer. to reset it you need a code reader... plug the code reader into the port under the drivers side dash and turn the key on...don't crank the vehicle just turn on the key and when the code reader reads the code just erase all the existing codes and the check engine light will go off unless there is still an existing problem with the vehicle and then it will put another code on the computer causing the check engine light to come back on.
Code readers are some what exspensive,go to local autoparts store and they will scan the codes and reset them for you for free..plus they will be able to tell you exactly what is causing the fault.

If the fuse you keep blowing is basically for the interior lights, start looking at each light receptacle for burned or shorted wires. Make sure you actually remove the receptacle and look behind it. This is usually the most common problem. Replace or repair any receptacles or wire that seem suspicious. Always disconnect the battery before making repairs.

don,t remove tank. remove bed bolts and jack it up like a dump bed to get to top of tank to remove pump.

How do you remove the spare tire on a 2005 dodge ram?
Get your jack out from under the passenger seat. Stick the rods together until you have two connected, with the hook end on one side. Go to the rear bumper and on the right hand side between the bumper and tailgate you will see a small opening. Stick the hook end through the hole and it clips onto a latch.
Place the tire iron rod horizontally onto the other rods. Then you proceed to twist the tire down like a crank. Spin the rod to the left, counter clockwise, and it will start lowering itself down.
Once its all the way down, climb under the truck and remove the tire. You need to tilt the tire up on one side and thread the tire winch through the center hole. Pull the tire out from under the truck. Then crank the winch back up by turning it clockwise. Pull the rods out and disassemble them and get ready to jack the truck up and stick your spare on.

If the problem is just when you slow down or when you are trying to stop it sounds like your rotor the metal is very easy to damage and even a little nick in it cause the brake pads to not catch evenly there fore causing the shaking when you apply pressure. If you have had your breaks replaced recently and didn't have the rotors replaced or turned that could be why basicly uneven wear on them. Sometimes you can get them turned to correct the problem or it may need replacing completely. They 80-100 dollars at the local part store each. If it is the rotor then you will go through alot of brake pads until you get it fixed.Good Luck!

oil in your air box or on your air filter, usally means you have blow by from your crank case venilation.... another words its usally a sign of bad pistion rings, oil is getting past the rings out the valve cover threw one of the venilation tubes into the air box.... AKA... you need new rings which means depending on miles you may as well do a compleat engine tear down and replace the bearings as well also when replacing the rings you wanna make sure to have the clyinders honed as well to ensure proper ring sealing, or it may continue to smoke even after ring replacement, any questions
