Lift the cover under the hood on the grill. Reach inside and grasp the assembly (about 1 1/2" across). Turn counterclockwise (may require lots of pressure - pliers) Remove the housing from the lamp. Replace the bulb, being careful not to touch the bulb with your fingers as the oil could cause it to fail. Replace the assembly in the lamp.

How do you know when the fuel pump for a 1991 Chevy Caprice has gone bad?

I had this happen. When the fuel pump goes back the first indication is a stutter in the engine. The stutter will increase until the CHECK ENGINE light illuminates. Then the performance will deteriorate rapidily until the engine stalls. It will only crank after that but will not fire. It costs about $850 to have the dealer do this job. There is more than just the fuel pump involved. Scroll through the old questions on Caprice and I posted something else on this a while ago. vbd

How to Tow a ford explorer 4 x 4?

If you're talking about towing behind a motorhome, you disingage the 4x4 (make sure that it is in 4x2). Next you put it in neutral. You want to hook it up from the rear because it's rear-wheel drive. That way, the front wheels which don't do anything but roll when driving will do their usually thing, just roll.

Why does your van alway stall when you take your foot off the gas or turn corners you have a 97 Plymouth voyager?

check the vaccum hose that connects the egr valve to the engine,i had the same problem every time i went to stop, slow down or let my foot off the gas it would die quickly.i replaced the egr vacuum hose line and the problem went away, also get a can of throttle body cleaner spry it in open the throttle plate ,wipe it out and spray a few more shots to make sure that it is good and clean, makes a hell of a difference..also check your breather hoses for any air leaks, one goes from side of throtlle body to pass side valve cover and the other goes from dr side valve cover to the pcv valve.a few seconds can bring the vehicle back to its old self again..

How good is traction control in a 95 explorer?

My 1995 Ford Explorer XLT , 4x4 , doesn't have traction control

If you mean the Control Trac 4x4 system , it seems to work fine

just don't romp on the gas pedal when you have the front wheels turned

sharply to the left or right in 4x4 auto because the power will transfer to the

front wheels suddenly and the back end passes the front ( I did that in an

empty , snow covered parking lot to see what would happen and I didn't

want to hit anything )

How do you disengage the horn or alarm system on a 1993 Ford Explorer?

The alarm brain is located in the rear of the SUV, in the jack compartment. You can disable it temporarily by removing the horn fuse, or by unplugging the harness from the brain. Unfortunatly the latter will cut your interior lights, but at least your horn won't sound off everytime you shut off your truck.
