How do you adjust pressure of window wiper blade arm to window on 2000 E-150 van?
Replace the windshield wiper arm - it has a spring in it to apply pressure to the windshield - if the old one is not applying enough pressure it is probably broke They are available at most auto stores
How would you tell the difference between a blown head gasket and a cracked head?
In either case, the head has to be removed. Once it's off, a machine shop can "Flux" the head. IF IT'S and iron head, they put a powerful magnet on the head then spray powdered iron to see where it lines up. If the powdered iron gathers along a line, you have a cracked head and it isn't worth anything more than scrap prices.

How do you install a trailer wiring harness on a Ford Ranger?
Your best bet would be to call or go to your local auto parts store and tell them you need a "plug in" trailer wiring harness for your vehicle....these are very nice items and easy to install, as you just "plug" them into your exsisting vehicle's wiring harness. No need to "search out" for which wire goes where and no splicing of the wires either. They are more expensive than a "standard" wiring plug, but the "extra" cost is more than worth the "time" and headaches you will save!

Where is the recharge port ac Mitsubishi Galant?
near engine. I knew that ,but there is a lot of area near the engine. For those that would really like to kmow, it's on top of the compressor.Looking over the driver's side ft fender at the back of the motor, it's close to the pulley. The high side port is near the engine too. It's up ft by the radiator. Next time I think I'll just go to All-data first. Thanks anyway.

What does it mean when your ford windstar ABS light and BRAKE light or on at the same time?
Normally I would refer you to the Related Questions about the ABS sensors and brake warning light. But...
Ford has recently issued a recall for all Windstars regarding a faulty brake pressure switch - faulty in that it leaks - and the leaking fluid triggers a wide range of symptoms - including lighting up the ABS and BRAKE warning lights. (the titles of the Related Questions give you an insight to these symptoms)
With all this in mind, I would suggest making the appointment with your local Ford dealer for the recall repair. I wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't resolve the warning lights.
See "Related Questions" below, especially the one about "Brake Fluid Leaking..." - that one has links to a website that has ALL the background information on the problems caused by this defect.
When the cruise control goes out of a 2002 ford windstar what do you replace?
That depends what is wrong with it. The first thing to check would be the brake switch.
No the oil pump does not need to be primed. In most cases, this is caused by debris plugging the oil filter or the oil pressure sending unit. The first step is to do a complete oil change. If this does not fix the problem, then locate the oil pressure sending unit, remove it, clean it and make sure that there is nothing visable inside its mounting hole. Try reinstalling it and test again. If it still does not fix the problem, replace it and make sure the wiring harness is pluged in and tight. Good luck.

If your check engine light is blinking with the engine running that means an
engine cylinder misfire has been detected . You will need to have your
Ford Windstar scanned for any trouble codes to help diagnose and then repair
the problem . You can drive it in to have it repaired , just drive in a moderate
fashion ( avoid any rapid acceleration or deceleration because you can damage
the catalytic converter )

After a complete brake job how do you reset the abs and traction control lights on a 98 DeVille?
This is easy, get under the hood of your car and unhook one cable on you battery. Leave it unhooked for a while, ( 2-3 min. ) Hook it back up, start the car and let it run for at least a min. because your computer has to relearn stuff on your engine, so when you let it run, don't drive it or give it any gas. You done, by doing this, you clear the computers memory on the car. Also works sometimes works for that "Check Engine" light.
