The 1989-94 Geo Metro is the same car as a Suzuki Swift or the Pontiac Firefly. Most parts on those cars would be compatible.

I don't know about the Spectrum. But on a 3 cylinder Metro it 54 foot pounds and on the Sprint it's 48. Depending on which engine you have, you could probably use these specs.

Geo (a subsidiary of GM/Chevrolet) began production of numerous vehicles in 1988. The 3-cylinder in question was developed by Suzuki and used in the Chevrolet Sprint, Pontiac Firefly, Suzuki Swift, and Geo Metro. Geo itself lived for ten years being swallowed by corporate GM in 1998. The Metro lived on as the Chevrolet Metro for two more years with the 3-cylinder 1.0L engine only available in the base hatchback - the sedan with the 1.3L 4-cylinder engine survived into 2001 as a fleet-sales only vehicle. So, year 2000 would basically be your answer.

In short, yes. The timing belt turn the cam-shaft which controls the timing of the opening and closing of the valves in the cylinder head. When a timing belt/chain breaks (usually at high RPM) valves can remain open where they can come in contact with the pistons and be bent by the pistons that are still moving with great force at high speed. Simply replacing the timing belt will not fix the engine if the valves are bent. You can get the valve train re-machined, but an easier (though not cheap) fix is to replace the whole cylinder head.

Assuming the parking brake is a similar style to that on my 1995 Prizm, this is a very easy fix. Start by removing the center shrowd which surrounds the parking brake. There will be screws holding it in place on either side in the front, as well as underneath the carpet in the little storage area. Once all fasteners are out, with the help of a screwdriver you can pry this shrowd off. The brake handle attatches to the end of a wire with two nuts: the bottom one adjusts the brake (right/tight, left/loose) and the nut on top locks the lower one in place. After fidgiting with it for a few minutes, you should be able to figure out how tight to make it and be able to reassemble the cover.

I would like to do the same thing on a 1990 Tracker but have not found anyone that makes adaptor plates for the tranny. There is a place that makes adaptor plates so you can install a Volkswagon 4 cyl. turbo diesel. To expensive for me but if your interested go to acmeadaptors.com and take a look.

95 Geo what? Most fuel pumps are in the gas tank now a days. If it's a Prizm, you can access it by removing the back seat and there's an access panel there under the seat.

since your battery is group 85 the only place you could get is dealer but you might use a group 26r or equivalent just make sure it has the same cold cranking amps 575 or more and that does fit that's the only thing besides dealer

I've had a problem where the rim becomes stuck to the disk (or drum). Usually a kick on one side of the rim breaks it loose. A whack with a rubber mallet works too.

For a particularly tough case, a propane torch can be used to heat the rim. The expansion of the metal should cause it to break free.

The gears in the tranny diff. Is shot. Is it a. A131l tranny. Thay have 2 place to fill. One in the middle of the tranny and the other on the back of the tranny. Where the cvc shafts go into the tranny by the rear motor mount.

And all that before taxes and labor. After a extensive web research understandood that, any tire has to reach certain standards of quality to be sold in the USA. Mine are performing jus fine.
