You have 2 plugs on each side of the block, Just under where the heads bolt on

You have 2 in the front of the engine , 1 on each side of timing cover.

You have 2 in the back of the engine, Need to remove transmission to see them.

Generally 12 - 14 city, low 20's highway. As a rule of thumb, I say 17. As an aside, My Jimmy is 10 years old, and the mpg is almost exactly the same today as when it was new. A testament to the Vortec V-6!

It is located at the engine end of the upper rad hose. When replacing it make sure the spring goes toward the enigne.

it takes some work with a good memory of where all the bolts and screws go if you are somewhat handy with basic tools everything comes apart you will come across wires vacuum lines ducts for heater you will be left with a steering wheel many hour of work

By repairing the problem that the computer has detected. They will reset the light with the scan tool, after the repair. You may have also reached a service interval such as oil change, or timing belt replacement. read your owners manual for more info Many auto parts stores such as Autozone will scan your vehicle for free. They can also reset the light.

You have to press and hold the 2HI and 4LO buttons simultaneously for approximately 5-10 seconds. This shifts the transfer case into neutral.

Pull your steering colum apart along with steering wheel and dash plastic, ignition swith is next to the key tumbler. Swap the parts.

It could either be a problem with your 4x4 switch in the cab, the actuator that connects the front right axle shaft to the drivetrain, or the transfer case itself not sending power to the front driveshaft.

most any of the gm radios will fit right into the bracket alot of after market radios fit and instead of cutting the harness to wire the new one in any good store that sell after market radios should carry harnesses that plug into the new radio and into the van harness as for specific brands of radios again check at the store they can probably provide a real good radio and adaptor harness that will plug right in

The pump is in the gas tank. Not a fun job to remove.

for this I would loosen the exhaust in front of the converter see if it will run . This was the problem with my 4 cyl s10. The convereter was clogged

IF you are jumping the right set of terminals, then: The solenoid is failing to 'push' the starter (pinion) into place and engaging the flywheel. The solenoid needs to be replaced, although the pinion and plunger is most likely worn: and replacing the whole starter assembly is normally not that much more expensive. Please note however that you could be jumping the power to the starter only thereby bypassing the solenoid. Solenoid:

S = (Purple wire) Start from Key Be sure you are jumping power to the START wire, not the X starter terminal.

The best thing to do is go by the dealership with your vin number and they give print you out a build sheet of your vehicle and tell you everything you want to know about it. Any GM dealership can do it, doesn't matter which brand.

Answer The relay for the fuel pump is actually inside the vehicle, in the glove compartment, in the box that says relay, take that off and there should be up to three little relays in there, and i tested it myself, the ones under in there, (in the glove compartment) are definitely the ones for the fuel pump. The fuel pump relay will be the first one from the left. The second one would be for the horn and if there is a third one it is for the fog lamps.

Under hood, on passenger side. Above engine coolant tank. Look for metal that says Delphi

First you will need an adjustable wrench or an open end wrench large enough to fit on the bolt between the fan & the belt pulley. Do not remove serpentine belt. Using a hammer smack your wrench counter clockwise to loosen. This may require several attempts. Remember your strike should be in the same direction as the fans normal rotation. Once successful then proceed to remove belt & disassemble as normal!

I had a pain with this one. The Haynes and Chilton repair manuals don't give you much insight. You have to take apart the dash, this insludes the heater/ac lever and temp lever braces as well. take out the screws on the bottom, you have you pull off the lever knobs, then slide both brackets down. Then disconnect the wire harnesses, try not to brake the clips. You may have to take apart the steering wheel cover as well. You should be able to reach the screws holding the instrument cluster to the back side of the dash. There are four screws in the corner. Once those are out pull out the cluster, the disconnect the chip from the receiving end that is attached to the dash. One that's out, make sure you put your screws in bags, and label them because there are alot of them.

Follow the upper radiator hose all the way to the block. It is under the cast nipple mounted to the engine.

The 3387 filter is a smaller/shorter version of the 3960 filter. It is used on alot of V4 and V6 GM engines, for example the S10 Blazers, Buicks, Chevy's and Pontiacs.

tRe dleplace IAC Valve

IT is located on the drivers side, middle of the frame (four door) We had to take the skid plate and the air bag box off to get to the bolts. Once everything was removed it wasn't bad.
