["To Judge or Not to Judge", that is the question before us. The proper

answer comes from a closer look at Jesus' words in James 4:11;Mt 7:1-6.;]

1. A chosen saying of many people is "Judge not, that you be not

judged"...It is frequently quoted whenever someone is pointing out the sins or faults of another. The impression is that we should never make moral judgments in what we see in others. Nonetheless, is that true? Is that what the Bible meant in the scriptures below?

James 4:11-17

11 Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He, who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12 There is one Lawgiver, F15who is able to save and to destroy. WhoF16 are you to judge another? F17 13Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will F18 go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit"; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is just an instant compared to God's overall plan. y. 15Instead you should express, "If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that." 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Matthew 7:1-6

1 "Judge not, that you be not judged.2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. 6 Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.

If we see wrong in others, can we never point it out? I am convinced that Jesus' statement is often misused, that Jesus

Taught there are times when we must judge; there are times when it is pertinent and relevant to point out the faults in others such as adverse or unfavourable criticism or the exercise of church discipline.

HIS WORDS ARE OFTEN USED TO FORBID "ALL" MANNER OF JUDGMENT

A. SUCH AS ADVERSE OR UNFAVORABLE CRITICISM...

1. Like pointing out a fault in someone else

2. Even if it be truly "constructive" criticism

B. SUCH AS THE EXERCISE OF CHURCH DISCIPLINE...

1. Exercising discipline of any sort does require "judging"

others as to their moral or spiritual condition

2. Since such "judgment" is involved, some feel verses 1-2 rule

out any sort of church discipline

C. Such as exposing those who teach error

. Undeniably, it requires making a judgment in order to consider

whether someone is teaching error. Therefore, some people, in light of verses Matthew 7:1;2, believe we cannot speak out against those who teach error.

No. But it's really hard not believe me, I think we all know that. What I do is just say to myself: what would Jesus do? But sometimes peer pressure makes you want to make fun of someone. No. Jesus brings this up on when He was speaking on the Sermon on the Mount. Here's what he says in Matthew 7:1-5 (NIV)-

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in you own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

There's a fine line, though, between "judging," which usually refers to making the determination about the eternal destination of an individual, and "observation." Catching someone in the act of sin is not judging; condemning them without knowing what's in their heart could be. Likewise, if someone says they plan on going to Hell, it's not really "judging" to accept their word.

1 Corinthians 5:12-13 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

1 Corinthians 6:2-3 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?.

Luke 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged.

Romans 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

James 4:12 Who art thou that judgest another?

The intent of "not judging" someone is really in "not condemning" someone for something you judge to be wrong. The Bible says: "Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?" (I Cor.6:2) We MUST make judgments, literally every minute of the day.

The key is knowing "how" to judge. Paul judged the Gentile Corinthian church in the above passage and berated them for going to lawyers out in the world to litigate against their Christian brothers when God's true church should be settling their own disputes according to the laws of the Bible. He shamed them by telling them, in effect, that the greatest fool among them should be able to make judgments in the church. Prayerful search of the scriptures usually yields answers to most questions and/or disputes. God has told us what is good and what is evil. He never left it up to man to decide what is good and evil... but to decide whether or not he will obey the law God has laid down... or disobey it. It was Satan who convinced man that he is his own god who should decide what's good or evil for himself in Genesis 3... and that God can't be trusted. It's up to the individual to decide for himself whether or not he will obey God's laws. It's not a group effort... although like-minded individuals often group together for support and to help and edify one another. And the support, help and edification must come from the Bible... and be in accordance with it, or it's not of God.

God will judge all of us, each in our own time. He is our Creator who has every right in the universe to condemn our works as He sees fit - and He will.

Just remember this: the books of the Bible will be opened on Judgment Day... and we will all (Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, atheists... all men, it doesn't matter) bave our works measured by what is written in the books of the Bible.

"...A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him: thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the Judgment was set, and the books were opened." (Dan.7:10)

"...I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened... and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. (Rev.20:12)

"...He that rejecteth Me, and receiveth not My words, hath one that judgeth him: the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." (John 12:48)

"...He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be." (Rev.22:11-12)

There is righteous judgment - and judging for the sake of condemning someone. It's a matter of the spirit.

Should we pass judgment on others?

simply put: NO

Jesus said to love thy enemy and love thy self. I'm not bible thumping so if you don't wish to talk about what Jesus said or did then remember this its my motto:

All things born unto this world are born with the right to life.

And we can't take the lives of others, or judge others.

Matt 19:28 [AKJV] And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you [ie speaking to the 12 disciples], That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Matt 19:29 [AKJV] And every one that has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundred times, and shall inherit everlasting life.

The importance of studying psychology is quite simple - in a clinical sense, studying the human brain, and gaining a better understanding of it, can help clinical psychologists treat and cure psychological problems.

Here are some things that are important about psychology:

• Studying the human mind makes you able to predict how people will act and how they will react to you
• Studying the human mind makes you able to understand how humans get along and how to get along better with others
• Studying the human mind makes you able to understand mental illness and how to treat it or deal with it

Masochism means deriving pleasure from receiving pain.

(The term was coined in 1886 by Richard Krafft-Ebing, who named it after Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, without asking the latter for permission. Sacher-Masoch had written a novel entitled Venus in Furs, which was published in 1870. In the novel a very beautiful woman in furs and shiny high boots whips her man, treats him as her 'slave' and humiliates him. In the novel, they both do this by agreement and both enjoy themselves).

The hazards involved in putting on clothing are minimal. It is designed to be worn. Be sure that you are not allergic to any fibers or anything that has absorbed into the fibers. To determine if something is bad, look at the reason for why you are doing it. If it is accomplishing what you intended it to, then bad can only be defined once it no longer accomplishes what you are intending. Whether or not what you are intending to do is bad is between you and our creator, and will be dealt with in time. If there is no creator then bad becomes an opinion... and in my opinion, opinions are a poor substitute for answers.

If we are without love we are damned. and no amount of suit wearing or tie wearing or prostrating or empty prayer or giving to Church can change that.

This is a dangerously loaded question. What, after all, is a sin? Most of the major religions have clearly defined sets of rules, typically designed to maintain an ancient status quo or reinforce old social rules. However, the simple fact is that many theologians and believers are unable to agree on simple things such as when an action constitutes a sin. In actuality, religious opinion is not static, but shifts over time. I can point to lines in the Bible (for example) that can be interpreted as a condemnation of cross-dressing, and other lines that would appear to suggest it is irrelevant one way or the other. Likewise, theology can be twisted in either direction.

Therefore, the idea of a sin is more potent as (and more likely to be) a social construct than a religious truth. It is pointless asking whether it is a "sin", since you'll never get a truly objective answer. Referring to theology or the Bible (or any other religious guide) is useless if it equally supports both arguments.

The need to ask this question suggests that your environment and upbringing are more conservative. If this is the case, cross-dressing is likely to be socially frowned upon. Even if you do manage to keep it under wraps, the very subterfuge could be making you unhappy. If you wish to do it in public, expect at least some disapproval.

Sadly, most cross-dressers can NOT just "pray the urge away". Suppressed, it is likely to at least cause "angst", and could possibly sublimate itself in other ways. I would suggest you "just go for it" and live the way you want, but I live in an extremely tolerant culture. Whatever your decision, therapy of some sort always helps. I don't mean expensive professional therapy - find somebody you can confide in, be it a VERY trusted friend, a counsellor, or even on the 'Net. Simply feeling free to discuss your feelings with somebody is important.

A further note of clarification:

An answer above suggested cross-dressing is necessarily a sign of "gender deformity". This rather odd choice of phrasing (which suggests an actual PHYSICAL deformity of some sort) is not definitely a correct diagnosis by any means. People cross-dress for many reasons, including simple pleasure, sexual or otherwise; as a sense of release or escape from the world, much as one may put on a pair of favourite slippers after work; a non-sexual fascination or curiousity; and of course because of "gender confusion". It is by no means LIKELY that you are suffering from transsexualism, as most cross-dressers are more or less comfortable with their sexuality. Often the view that, by cross-dressing, you are somehow "failing" your masculinity is harmful in itself, especially as it is not often true. You're the same person beneath the clothes, whatever clothes you wear. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone it's not bad, in my opinion.

It's your life, and i think you should do whatever you want to do. don't listen to how other people are telling you to run your life, if its the opposite of what you want to do. go for it!
