Why do bronchiole have a large suface area?

The same concept as why sand is a good absorbent of spilled engine oil, but rocks are not so good.

Assume the bag of fine sand and the bag of large rocks of the same material have the same volume, as indicated by their weights. Although the volumes are the same, the surface areas are much larger in fine sand in large rocks. The large surface area of fine sand can absorb/store much more split engine oil than large rocks can provide.

The lungs work the same way. A large surface area is more efficient in doing its work -- exchanging oxygen and CO2. How to obtain a large surface area? Make a large tube and place little branches on it; the little branches, in turn, would be the platform for even smaller tubing, and so on (like the twigs are growing on branches, which are growing on the tree trunk.)

How do you become a Promoter?

Find an act (Band) that needs a job. Tell them you can book them at a venue (club or arena) and give them a date for them to play, and ask if they would be willing to play on that date. Discuss the terms with the owner of the club, or arena where you want the performance. This is the tough part; pay up front the rental for the day of the gig, the insurance fees in case there is an accident, and what ever else the owner thinks is fair for using his venue. Now, hope that the ticket sales will cover all the expenses, and pay you and the band enough to make it worth your while. It can be great. This is just the beginning. The band is a success, and someone else hears about the gig, and wants to call the promoter, you, to hire them for their venue. You're on your way!!!!!!

If your ex left for an ex she couldn't get over her heart was always on him due to he packed up and left her when she was in the hospital how do you make her realize your the right man for her not him?

You can't make her realize she's with the wrong guy. You have to let her go and move on. Sometimes when you are in love you are blinded by all the wrongs of the relationship and the person you are with you only see and feel and do what you want. It seems to me that you shouldn't want someone who doesn't already know without you trying to convience them your worth. Let her go and search for a real woman who automatically tells you how wonderful you are and how lucky they are to have found a great guy instead of you conviencing them.

Write down on paper all the wrong you know he has done to her, let her read it. Say to her even if I'm not the one, he proved he is not.

How far can a lung stretch?

For an adult male, the most a lung can hold is about 6 liters of air. There is a reflex in the body that will prevent overstretching of the lungs. This is called the Hering–Breuer inflation reflex which is triggered by receptors on the surface of the lung and carried via the Vagus nerve.

What causes the air pressure in your lungs to decrease and make you inhale?

When you inhale, oxygen fills your lungs. Next the oxygen diffuses out of your lungs into your bloodstream. The diffusion of oxygen from the lungs causes less pressure in your lungs signaling your brain that you need to inhale.

What is the effect of the diaphragm depression and the expansion of the rib cage inside the lungs?

When the diaphragm depresses and the rib cage expands, it increase the volume of the chest cavity. Actually, the rib cage doesn't really expand. The sternum (breastbone) move up and out slightly, moving the ribs slightly with it. This creates a pressure gradient where there is very low pressure in the lungs and higher pressure out. As a result of this gradient, air is almost sucked into the lungs, like air filling a vacuum space. As the diaphragm contracts and gravity pulls the ribs and sternum back down, the air is forced out of the lungs.

The only way urine could possibly ever get into the lungs would be if the person inhaled or drank urine. Not a good thing to do.

How many lobes are on the camshaft of each engine?

There are so many variables in answering this question. A standard v8 engine will have 16 lobes, 1 for each valve while an overhead cam engine will run 2 cams with 8 on each side.

What happens if your water pump goes out?

There will be no water pumped into your engine to cool it, then you might need a new engine.

How much air does a baloon hold?

As much as you can put in without making it burst. The nature of the material (its elasticity, durability, porosity...), its thickness, the engineering and design of the balloon, and the use to which it will be put all go into determining how much air a balloon will hold. Meteorological balloons don't do too much expanding. Their job is to stay strong and functioning for as long as it takes to gather all the information it is meant to gather.

I have a 1993 Toyota 4runner also and it does not have a air bag. I think the 4runners got air bags in late 1995 or early 1996.

Why is your right testicle bigger than your left?

Everything on one side of your body is not exactly the same size as the other. If you look at your right hand and your right foot as well as your right ear, your left will be smaller.

I understand that when things grow from the embreo and things start to form, it duplicates, such as in when people have "hair lips" the skin formed and met not exactly in the middle of the face.

Can someone add to this?

I have heard that if your left testicle is bigger than the right you are a more creative person but idk for sure. Because the right is bigger ;)
