1. mix 2 stroke oil with non-leaded gasoline

2. mix the ratio 30 to 50(30 is oil)(50 is gas)

3. shake it up until it is blue colored

4. pour into gs tank

5. pull start it or electric start it however it starts

6. twist throttle imeadtialy after starting it (not hard or it will take off/hold brake if have to)

7. sit and ride

I had the same problem on my MX-3. You can reach up from under the car and feel for the spring release to pop the hood. The problem is, the manufacturer put a piece of flat metal in your way, I guess so strangers can't pop it. The metal is not all that hard. It's like an L shaped flap about 3 inches accross horizontally. Reach up with a wrech, or plyers, and bend the piece down so that it's vertical. You will now be able to feel up there for the sping release and pop the hood. Now go back inside and torque the bolt behind the hood release handle, below the dask board, so that you can get more resistance and make it function again.

Reach up in between the grill on the drivers side of the front of the car. You will fill a hood release cable. Pull on it and you are in. Or use a hammer-

You need to take out the air filter housing and hose leading to the intake. Below the distributor cap, you should see your starter. Remove the battery terminals from your battery and then remove the starter from it's home. Replace with new starter and reconnect battery terminals. Replace air filter housing and hose, then fire it up. Worked like a dream.

More often then not it is low oil. Another common cause is if there is oil getting into the cylinders due to a bad header or header seal. If you don't believe any of these may be the answer then it could possibly the O2 censor is faulty causing the ECU to input an improper balance of Oxygen and Fuel.

check the power steering and check the battery

check your relays and fuses. mine flashes when i take one ofthose out and the car is on. Start there

Every cc make the engine be able to pull 10 lbs, at 3 mile per hour. So if you have a 500cc bike, it can go a max of 220 miles per hour.

Screw out the big screw on the back of the unit dont screw out the 2 ones on top of the light, now pull the light out (some force will be needed!) the units is being locked by pins no other screws need to be removed.

I have a 1993 mx3 v6 and had changed my starter in the winter ....in the process of getting to the starter I damaged my air intake without realizing it... easy to do in the cold Canadian winter... after everything was back together is ran but a bit rough and would just quit after a few minutes ... once I fixed the air intake all was good ...maybe check for any vacuum leaks.

check the etc sensor located under fuel injectors when it starts to warm up it shuts down fuel. its about a 20 dollar part.

Yes, disconnect the wire at the seatblelt anchor point or just remove the bulb. Looks like the problem is some sort of failure in the little box under the drivers seat that controls the passive seatbelt system. This little box has all the relays and logic in it to control the movement of the belts using the door switches, and little switches on the belt tracks to tell the box when to move the belts, and in which position the belt is in, and whether or not the belt is locked in place. This box has one wire that runs from it to the instrument cluster to turn the little seatbelt light on and off. It also has 2 wires that run to the cars ECU that control that little beeper that comes on if you leave your lights on, or when the belts have not reached their fully locked position after you get in the car and close the door. Solution: If you are somewhere in the states I would take the car to the dealer and tell them you are having problems with the passive restraint system, and that there is a recall to have this system including I would assume the little control box checked out completely. If the seatbelt system is under warranty for life like I have read on this egroup then they should honor this request free of charge.

To ground yourself while getting out of the car, its so you don't get shocked from touching the door while getting out.

To remove the shift knob on a '95 Mazda MX-3 just twist the knob itself counter clockwise until it comes off!

There is a coolant temperature sensor and a temperature gauge sensor. the coolant sensor is located on driver side of the cylinder head. screws right into it, and the temperature gauge sensor is on the front side of the cylinder head right under the distributor. hope this helps

The neutral safety switch, release switch, or brake switch is bad.

If it is anything like my 1994 MX-3, it is located under the bumper/side fender on the driver's side.

The S is for sport and then 1st gear. When you swap over to S your gear changing will alter and will take longer to change gears allowing you to go higher up the rev range.
