All you have to do is open the hood. On the back of the head light, pull the plug off. Depending on the last time the lights were changed it may be difficult. I know when I changed mine I broke one of them. Once you get the plug off, pull of the rubber gasket off. Then there will be a gold screw holding a wierd looking wire. Take it off. Then pull off the wire. Then, take out the bulb. Remember to never touch the bulb. Hold it by the base only. The replacement bulbs are 9003. Then once you get the new one in do the directions above in reverse.

I don't think it's a question as to what type, as it is to how much ,,, about one gallon of prestone straight antifreeze then top it off with water .

i don't think you need to remove the enigine.....i also own a 2003 galant and i had mine done at a dealership......costed around $700 and i got it back in a couple of days.....results and prices may vary...

The crankshaft position sensor can fail after many years of service. The sensor is on the engine and experiences temperature variations which can eventually cause the wire coil to open. This can happen suddenly or when the parts gets hot. In some cases it may work again after cooling.. To test this failure you need to check the problem code in the computer with a reader. It may show no failure, but if driven when it fails, the code should appear on the reader. It may require running the engine until the engine dies, because if it cools and works again, the code may be cleared.

1993 through 1997 Subaru Impreza all have the same car stereo wire colors (except for the power antenna lead). See this table:

1993 and 1994 have a manual rod antenna, so there is no pin or wire at pin 14.

I had the same problem and the dealer recommended using an air impact hammer. I took one of the chisles that came with it and cut of the sharp point where I had basically the shaft diameter of approx. 1/2" in diameter. After impacting this off and on for about 5 to 10 minutes, the rust broke free and I was able to walk the rotor off. try a rubber mallet to break free the rust

CAll the dealer. They know what this means.

the horn accuator on the steer. wheel just completes the 12v signal from the battery to the horn system.

the problem could lie in the horn accuator contact not releasing from the horn activator contact within the horn actuator assembly within the steerng wheel.

remove the accuator assembly on the s-w , check for a 'LOOSE WIRE'. there might be a "FUSED" contact. if wiring checks out "ok",put fuse in and check to see if horn stays on. if not, the problem is here.

repair as necessary.

if not here, a long process of tracking the wiring to the horn will be required here to find a possible short,. or possibly an open circuit

near engine. I knew that ,but there is a lot of area near the engine. For those that would really like to kmow, it's on top of the compressor.Looking over the driver's side ft fender at the back of the motor, it's close to the pulley. The high side port is near the engine too. It's up ft by the radiator. Next time I think I'll just go to All-data first. Thanks anyway.

The strainer valve on the Mitsubishi Galant 2004, 2005, 2006 models is located next to the engine manifold.

well , lets see, it requires a Mitsubishi service manual (i recommend auto zone ,advance) cost 18.95. READ,READ,READ before you turn the first wrench.

it is not hard work,just lots of it. depending on the engine,2.4l,3.0. etc...

you basically have to take everthing off front of engine, thenCAREFULLY keep every pulley and tensioner in line while you swap the belt. Work is extensive,i just finished up 2.4l engine. interference engines have to be exact when you time them or you can bend valves,damage connecting rods and pistons. This is not your dad's Chevy 305 v8 where if you goofed and turned the engine over nothing happened,these engines it will happen and the damaged is extensive. So $ 358.00 at Mitsubishi is not so bad and while you are in there don't be cheap ... replace the water pump too.

HOW DO I INSTALL A TIMING BELT ON A 4D56 ENGINE

on some cars its the wires that come from the front end of the car. u have a negative and posite wire which are connected to the bulbs that come out for the licence plate.. otherwise the bulbs could be toasted already but u wanna check ur fuses too to make sure they are not blown up... or if you have one of those aftermarket ones then all u need is positive and ground..

Heater core. Mitsubishi's have poor heater core designs and they are a high fail item. I own a 2002 and have been trying to find a recall or either a class action lawsuit for them passing a known defective design. I own a 2002 and through my research I have found that if you own a Galant.....you are guaranteed to be without heat. By the way; the dealerships want $900 to replace their defective design. Sad part is the heat never goes out while the car is under warranty.

It's on the exhaust manifold right under your hood, at least it is in my 2000 Galant 2.4 L.

It could be a head gasket that needs replaced or a freeze plug needs replaced depending where the leak is coming from. It could also be a radiator hose.

You cannot reset a code. Take out your radio. Check the serial number on it and call Mitsubishi dealer. They will check a database and give you a code.

They are right along the top of the engine going in behind the valve cover. They are deep down inside under the wire w/boot 2 of them have ignition coils on top of them (they are bolted down with 2 small bolts each) and have plugs plugged into them (1 each on outside edge) the other two are just beneith the rubber boots connected to the spark plug wire.
