In a pinch you can do it with a length of garden hose to get it started and gravity will do the rest, but it's safer to get one of those siphoners with a hand pump from the auto parts store. they are cheap and no one wants gas in their mouth.

The car may not be approved at the "car approval station". Maybe you can clean it from soot, it depends on what car you own. EGR= Exhaust Gas Recirculation. It is good for the environment.

There is not one. This was before diagnostic plugs were installed.

There is however a Engine Control Module in the center dash just to the right side of the gas pedal. It has green and red LED's that flash to give trouble codes. I forgot to mention: You will need to remove the panel on the passenger side to see the lights.

First repair whatever has caused the fault code. Then reset with an OBD 2 scan tool. Or you can simply remove the negative wire to the battery and that will erase the computer codes. If it's not fixed, it will return, usually by the 3rd or 4th time you turn the car on.

In order to have complete combustion you need only a few things.
-Spark
-Fuel
-Air
-Compression
-Correct Timing

Any of these things could cause a misfire.
A common problem with the 1992 Nissan Maxima is the fuel injectors. I would check the resistance on them and check the wiring harness.

Open the hood and find the electrical lead into the headlamp: that plugs directly into the bulb, which is screwed into the headlamp. You just need to remove the plastic shield over the back of the headlamp to gain access, unplug the electrical lead, and unscrew the bulb. Replace the bulb, reattach the lead, and reinstall the shield. A 10-minute job!

I have removed and repaired the window motors on our Sienna van. Remove the door handle and and I believe there two bolts to remove before pulling off the inside panel which is just a pop off proceedure. I can't remember exactly how to remove the motor but it is fairly clear. Once the motor is removed take it apart and solder the circuit braker contacts together. If you are not comfortable with soldering, take the motor to a repair shop and have them do it. I have done both motors in our 98 and have had no more problems. This is somewhat vague but it's been awhile.

one way to do it s to get an in depth service manual and take a multimeter to the electrical system or you could just unplug the spark plugs but not remove them, and plug in a set of spare plus into the spark plug wires and ground them to check for a spark. if it is sparking just fine, then it could be a timing or a fuel problem or the engine could just not be spinning fast enough to start

Regular 3800 engine. First remove the fuel injector sign shield by turning the neck of the oil fill cap 1/4 turn counter clockwise, then lift the front of the cover up and away. Standing in front of the car looking at the engine. It will be on the left end of the intake manifold inside of a bayonet cap. Mounted to the top of the cap is the MAP sensor, a small squarish device with a connector facing the front of the car. Gently pull the map sensor straight up leaving the connector in place. You have to press down and turn the wings on the cap counterclockwise to remove. The PCV valve will be located inside. Supercharged 3800 engine: Remove the injector sight shield by removing the nut located in the center. Then remove the neck of the oil fill cap by grasping the neck and turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise. The PCV valve is under a square cover with 2 screws on the right rear of the supercharger (closest to where the driver sits) as viewed from the front of the car. Note: The PCV valve should never need to be replaced during the normal life of the car, unless a problem has been incountered, or regular oil changes have not been performed.

Sounds like it is your window motor drive box. I have had to repair three in my 95 Maxima. There is no longer a good bond between your rubber isloation wheel and the output drive. This is the part behind the round aluminum cover adjacent to your electric window drive motor.

The instrument panel fuse on a Nissan Maxima is located in the sections marked 34 and 35 in the fuse box panel. These are both 15amp fuses that should be replaced together because if either one of them is weak, putting in a new one might short out the weak one.

You need to send a single pulse on the unlock wire. I forget what color it is. Xs need a double pulse to unlock.

This sort of question is a little involved, and essentially cries out for pictures and diagrams, which we can't do here.

Your best option is probably to buy a service manual... any good auto parts store should have these, and they typically cost 15-20 dollars, a pretty small investment compared to labor costs at a mechanic. They'll have very, very involved instructions, with lots of pictures to help you.

Check all fuses (key on--engine off) in fuse box under dash and in the relay/fuse box under the hood. Check the cable from the cruise module to the throttle body. Check plug connector at cruise module. Other than these few checks it's a dealer repair item.

On the 2.4 L the up stream O2 sensor is located in the exhaust manifold between the engine and the firewall. It has a single wire coming out of it. I believe it will be a purple wire. The down stream, heated O2 sesor is located under the car after the catalytic converter in the ehaust piping. It will have four wires coming from it.

Torque converter may be the cause.

autozone should have this part. if they dont, try orielly.

remove the rear wheels release the parking brake and then unbolt the brake calipers. The calipers are held in by two large bolts parallel to the axle they are on pretty tight and will need the right wrench, to slip the caliper assembly off the rotor, you have to press the pads away from the rotor a small amount, not too much you will be pumping brake fliud into the reservoir in the engine compartment. put a coat hanger wire through the bolt hole and hook it up so as not to stretch the brake lines. the rotor should slide off now, tap gently from the side to loosen

most definitely the motor mounts replacement would be the result of the accident usually motor mounts will last for years
