check the coils .they might be bad I'd try plugs/wires and fuel filter first. If it backfires when revved up while running rough, probably a spark problem, plugs, wires, or coils. But could also be a fuel problem (filter or water in gas).

Run the engine until it reaches operating temperature. Remove one valve cover. Use a socket wrench . There are gizmos that you can put on the end of the rocket arms to help with the mess. start the engine. Loosen one rocker stud nut until it clatters. Slowly tighten the stud until the clatter stops. Now tighten the stud nut. 3/4 turn 1/4 turn at a time. repeat this for the rest of the rocker arms. Replace the cover and repeat on the other side. Expect a mess.

You could have a bad switch or a loose wire on it but I would check your door pins wiring to make sure they are working properly as well as a loose wire could be grounding out and turning it on. Just my thoughts.

If the coolant system (radiator and reservoir) is full and the light remains on, the probe on the coolant level sensor is probably dirty. Remove it from the radiator, clean it gently with brake clean and an old toothbrush, re-install it, refill coolant system and you should be good to go.

Your best bet would be to get a service manual for your car. If you can't get a GM one, you could try either Haynes or Chilton manuals - but they may not have exactly what you are looking for.

Check your ignition system and maybe your fuel injectors are clogged? They sell injector cleaner at nearly all gas stations.. ... It may be something more serious though?

In the trunk ,on the right side there is a 3"diameter at the base of the antenna wheel that carries the nylon string or rope that winds up the antenna. That has to be replaced... Measure the length and replace with a length of grass trimming nylon .. Need to remove door panel, Usually few at door bottom, handle and under trim panel. With trim panel tool or " carefully with automotive spatchula, pop door panel trim plastic rivets. Usually have to have door lock knob removeed/ pressed into lock position. pop door panel up, to removed, becareful not to damage mirror housing, wiring for door lock/handle, mirror switch, (disconnect if present). There is properly a vapor guard(plastic film) held by chalk like substance You need to remove. Lower the glass to were you can see the mounting bolts. You will see if you need new parts to replace broken parts ( clips or regulator)or just reinstall. Unbolt the retainer clips,(replace if necessary) reinstall, check operation. Reassemlbe when ok.

You "threw" a belt. The accessory belt came off and there was probably a reason for it. Check the accessories to see if one of them is frozen up such as the alternator, power steering pump, water pump and any idler pulleys. It is also possible the neighborhood cat was keeping warm in there, fatal mistake on his part.

Yes. Look at your fuse panel, located under the dash or behind the driver's kick panel. On the back of the cover is a diagram showing you which fuses control what. Find the one that says "taillight" and check to see if it's burned out. Find the one that says "headlight" and check it to make sure it's not burned out. Change the burned out fuse. Replace fusebox cover.

Build a jumper wire with small alligator clips at each end.

Find the "B" terminal on the regulator and attach one of the alligator clips, find the "D" terminal and touch the terminal with the other alligator clip. You can touch the terminals a few times and it will produce a soft light spark. Under no circumstances touch the "F" terminal or any other part of the regulator or you could damage the regulator. Start the car and make sure the generator charges properly by the gauge indication.

The oil goes into the oil pan on the bottom of the engine. You pour the oil in through the oil fill cap. Seriously, if you do not know where to add oil then you do not have enough knowledge to even be under the hood of a vehicle. Take your car to a professional.

I just had my blower motor replaced in my 95 Achieva. The motor is located on the firewall behind the motor on the passanger side of the car.

The mechanic had to cut away part of the plastic cover to remove and replace the motor

wow you got ripped off! I bought my blower motor at auto zone for 24.99 and it has a lifetime warranty. Put it in myself.. no problem!
