The engine in the 1995 McLaren F1 GTR and all subsequent GTRs is a normally-aspirated BMW V12. Yes, it actually won Le Mans in 1995.

On a 1990-91 it is behind the housing the upper hose attaches to ON A 1.6 LITER

I am thinking it's .040 but it's been so long I can't say for sure.

if i could guess between sponsors and everything all together as a whole, I would have to say an average and professional le mans race car driver makes anywhere from $45,000-$250,000 depending on performance on the track via wins etc. what do you all think? I could be wrong ha lol.

There is a line on both of the pulleys, the top pulley (camshaft) the line should be at the bottom or 6:00 position and the bottom pulley (crankshaft) the line should be on top or in the 12:00 position, both lines should line up with each other.

The fuse box should be on the driver side firewall under the dash.

Not usually. The balancer is specific to the engine as it counterbalances the rotating internal parts. Hope this helps.

The firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. However, I'm sure you are wanting the order of the plug wires from the coils to the plugs. The front of the engine is, left to right..2-4-6 The back side is left to right 1-3-5. The coils fire from left to right 1-4-6-3-2-5 Match up the coil number to the plug number. That's it.

your problem lies between one of the three

Let's see... If your motor was recently running and is now locked you could have a seized bearing in the lower end, a broken rod, a piston seized in the cylinder wall. Check the engine oil for metal shavings or burned oil or... no oil (I have seen it). You could pull the oil pan to inspect the bottom end. Or, You could pull the heads, that will also eliminate or identify a problem with your valve train or pushrods. Or, check your radiator fluid. If you see milky or Oliy fluid, pull all of your spark plugs and see if water comes out when turning the engine over. (by hand!!) If the motor has not run in a while, pull the heads, inspect the part of the cylinder walls you can see. does it look like you want the pistons moving at 5500 rpms on the surfaces you see? Probably not. You can free up the pistons by pouring marvel mystery oil and letting it set for a few days... If you get it to turn over, chances are the rings will be stuck to the pistons and it needs to be rebuilt anyways. Is it a 4 speed? Check to make sure your clutch is not froze to the pressure plate. The water pump on a lemans is ran by the timing belt. The pump is not like a conventional water pump being that the housing is actually cast into the block the pump itself is just an insert that goes into the block. You have to take loose 3 Allen head screws and pull the pump from the housing there should be an o-ring on the back your new pump should have one. Put all of it back in reset the timing and replace the timing belt remember the water pump drive sets the tension on the timing belt so put tension on the gear and tighten the Allen screws and you're done

fluids are fine, no codes, and it wont shift past 2nd gear. any help?

that all depends on what engine you have and the cam in your engine and your rearend gear and what you want to do with the car, once you figure that out you will have a better idea what stahl converter you need, other than that I would just put the stock converter in it.

on the coupe all the windows rolled down and on the hardtop roadrunner the back windows didn't go down, they pushed outward.

Engine comes out through the bottom, need to pull the cradle with it. If engine re & re is new to you I suggest you get a manual as it's too lengthy a procedure to type it out. A good bit of automotive knowledge is definitely an asset to be successful
