The difference is battery group size, name badges, and the sidekick has different options.

The first thing is to lubricate the keyhole with something like WD40 or a liquid base graphite solution usually available at home depot or auto part stores.

If that does not work,you need to get the Vehicle Identification Number or V.I.N.

and contact the dealer of the brand vehicle. They will be able to give you the key I.D.

Car door locks that won't turn can be due to dirty cylinder and wafers, corrosion, or a worn out key. Lubrication usually works.

There are also some cars such as Toyota's that have split wafers. Honda Sidewinder keys also can have wafer issues that a locksmith can fix fairly easily. Locksmiths with a shop can usually look at the car and determine the problem.

The 1993 Suzuki neutral safety switch is located on the top of the transmission. You can access the switch through the shifting console.

inside the transmission. visible once you remove the transmission pan

if both are bad, then you need to check fuses. above left knee.

if that is good, then your combo switch is bad (for head lights) and is real expensive

up to $900

so find a used one at the wreckers, if it is bad.

the switch can be tested by hot wiring it.

you need a schematic for that , so go to the library (public) and it is there

in the e-sources of the data base.

On a 1998, it's on the blower motor itself. Good bet it's the same on the 1996. Open the glovebox, push the tabs on the sides so you can open it further. You can see the blower motor. The resistor is the thing the wires attach to. Unplug the connector, and the resistor comes right out with (I believe) just one screw.

well depends if its an automatic or manual. if its automatic then u got a dipstick under ur hood, it is located at the back of the motor almost under windshield- Pull out the Stick and put it down that hole. if its a manual then when u get underneath it u will see 2 big screws. the bottom one is to drain top is to fill. fill through top screw until it starts to overflow. replace screw and ur done

3SP. drop pan, (add drain plug if smart) fill through dip stick casing.

4SP drain at pan, (fill same as above.)

5sp, drain with bottom drain plug (use heat if zero maintenance for 15yr)

5sp, remove side plug,(same heat thing) fill till it starts dripping , put back plug.

Do not over fill the tranny.

it will foam up and kill the tranny dead.

You just push in on the one side of the door and the other side opens up.

well i could be a bad head gasket what u could try and do is remove the raditor cap when cold and start the vehicle see if you are getting bubbles in the fluid at the raditor or you could try napa makes a tool that picks up hdyrocarbons in the coolant by pulling the vapor by using this tool it could tell u if your having a problem in the head or gasket either way you are getting hydrocarbons in the coolant i would also check if the oil is milky if it is then you have coolant in the oil as well.

Another likely possibility:

Check the lower Crank shaft pulley. It uses a rubber layer on the larger pulley that may be slipping and keeping the serpentine belt/water pump from going full speed. If you rev the engine and the belt doesn't seem to follow the rpm increase exactly this is likely the problem. You may also see it slipping when moving the belt by hand. The smaller center pulley that drives the fan blades won't move, but the larger serpentine pulley will move. They should rotate together. Dealer part cost is about $180. While you have that pulley and belt off. Make sure the other pulleys are turning free. A seized idler or alternator may contribute to the crank pulley's failure.

Gear oil (80W90 or similar) is used in the transfer case and differentials.

I have a 93 Suzuki Sidekick and it wont start either. The spark seams to come and go. Also the spark seems like it is late? I have replace the timing belt the Coil and the ignitor on top of the coil as well. The compression also is fine.

did you check for spark at the coil when it goes?

does test fuel start car.

is car flooding? look at plugs, wet and stinks of fuel?

bad front of crank key way , sheered or mangled thowing timing way off

flooding, try WOT cranking to clear fold , WOT shuts off all FUEL on kicks.

miss timed Distributor.

Answer: Normally located down by clutch arm (that sticks out between the engine and transmission). How do you locate it? The clutch pedal depresses a clutch master cylinder on the firewall (driver side). Follow the hose line down to the where the clutch arm is located. NOTE: don't get the brake master cylinder and clutch master cylinder confused, its easy if you do not work on cars regularly.

I installed a set of flat top pistons and the 272 cam in my 87 sammi and what it gained me is that it will rev higher in 4 th gear but it still tops out the same speed in 5th. So since I'm not interested in just spending more money to rev it up and blow it up sooner and burn more gas, I spent about 500 bucks for nothing.
